That is awesome build (with ERML) but I'm not sure if you realized that OP is actually mocking lurmers that claim to do 600 avg. damage / game.

PS. Gotta say OP is correct, my favourite LRM mech TBT-7M only averages 521 :(

yeah I know xD but for most average players regardless of build the average will be 300-400ish

This guy gets it. I shoot around 600 damage EVERY match. Whether the enemy catch it or not has nothing to do with anything you noobs.

Apparently I have 21 mechs that have an average match damage of over 600 (only 2 has less than 10 matches).

That's a lot more than I though I'd have Posted Image

Average across all mechs is only 420 though (yey.. blaze it Posted Image )

My favorite missile mech has these stats IV-FOUR 117 69 48 1.44 175 58 3.02 94,354 181,756

average is 806 dmg unfortunately i have no lurms in it Posted Image

I just checked my 3 best mechs (in memory).

Atlas DDC - 374 average damage
DWF - 376 average damage
SMV-A (missile boat) - 520 average damage

But I expect those to be my top performers.
Other 90 mechs are expected to perform much worse.

Sadly we can not import the stat profile into a excel sheet.

Every time i look at the weapon stats they simply don't add up.

On a second look: You don't use MadStats and referred to the mech stats right? Then your stats may be more correct. I thought you calculated the numbers from the weapon stats.

OK, I did a calutation with Excel over my masterd mechs.

Average damage seems to be around 271.

Did not see this.
But in this case he may be right.
My best performer with 520 admg is my SNV-A LRM boat (2 x LRMA 15, 2 x LRMA 20, 4 x SERL).
This mech is a hell of a a fun to play and very often a real killer.
There is nothing to say against a well played LRM-boat (if its me and not a red).

i dont think i own a single mech that can consistently get 600. i did 1300 in my ultraviolet a few times, but usually im pulling in 300-400 with it, and ive had several '12 damage' games. 1200 damge is a good score in fp dispite the players who say you need to break 2k every match before you belong there. the players who can actually do that are somewhat rare.


meme's aside,
i think 12dmg is an outlier for the majority
(please let it be an outlier)

imagine if every indirect fired lrm that hit terrain or exploded in air due to range counted against their score, including after death lrms.

Every lrm that hits an ally counts double against...

would be great.

As a chronic terribad, who plays a LOT and I mean A LOT of just down right silly builds I rarely look at my stats. But this thread inspired me to do so, and I was pleasantly surprised at least in terms of average damage in the mechs I regularly play and enjoy. Most were upwards of 330, several were around 360 and my best/most played/favorite were 400. This made me feel pretty good since I am well aware that I am not particularly good at this game.

As to the theme of the OP and the average 600 damage LRMer...I only have one mech that I have consistently played as a LRM boat and it does an average of 511 damage. Alas, I admit one of my best average damage performances.

Its a Pretty Baby though so I don't feel too bad (I truly could not figure out what else to do with it!).

The crap of it is that I just converted the thing and skilled it out as an MRM boat and now I am thinking I should put it back to the way I had it.

According to the stats I fired my C-UAC2 in 0 Matches 12,329 times.
