Well given I've barely dropped FP in 5 months and any drops I have done were with EmP dudes or friends in a 4-6 man for the most part and thus I barely use in-game comms as there is no need...

And then all the comms over the weekend in the FP games was fine and concise while training people as well and even for the other rando's we picked up...

So I kinda find that a fair bit of a stretch.

But ok.

Anyway -

Next Training as per below

TIME:
Fri 11th Jan - US EST - 9pm / Sat 12th Jan - AU AEDT - 1pm

WHERE: CLICK ME (My Discord)

People are welcome to come and go as well. There is no set requirement to be there for the duration or the start etc etc. We can cover things as we go depending on how many people appear etc.

Last week / trianing we had 10+ top level players drop by to help out so there was no shortage in the knowledge and skill level - Wanna learn, come learn from some of the best Posted Image

We will go for ~3hrs as well. Depends who sticks around and what not.

Some people are just special snowflakes and treat everything as abuse. Don't worry about it.

I would like to get with you some time and discuss a joint training initiative, I have a garrison that battles on clan and IS sides. I also have training programs that teach pilots of all levels how to effectively improve their game play skills. If you're interested please feel free to message me.

I was in a drop with you on the weekend where you were busy bellowing abuse not only at a guy who wasn't listening but at the people who dared let him drop in a group with them.

If you get pissed off because no one's listening by all means tell them, but my (admittedly limited) experience with you is that you go for abuse, belittling, and yelling before you do anything else. I look forward to more drops with you so I can learn that's not what you're always like, and maybe learn a bit to stop being such a potato myself.

Faction Play is a Team Mode. If you want to drop in a team, in a team mode and then go and do your own thing... I'm gonna call that, every time. I would also expect anyone I drop with to hold me to account if I'm not following or doing my own thing and costing the team the game.

I mean sometimes that view is met with some interesting responses so that'll get interesting ones back. I also think peeps need a bit of a thicker skin. This isn't primary school where everyone gets a ribbon even if you come last because society says it's so to make kids feel good about themselves. Plus there is a fair bit of Aussie stirring and I know people of other ethenticity tend to not understand/take it the wrong way - that's cool and I get it. Mute button works fine.

Anyway stop by on the date above, learn a few things. Happy to teach show people whatever they need. We had a grant old time last session.

This is, first and foremost, a team game. There's no middle ground: you either work with your team or against it - players who refuse to communicate (and therefore, to cooperate) with their team are doing the latter. In QP you can sometimes shrug off the loss of a player or two and still win, but in FP this gives opfor a much greater advantage against you.

Not everyone needs to have a mike, but everyone who comes to a group drop in FP needs to have voice comms enabled and pay attention to what's getting called. If they're hearing-impaired, they should pick a teammate and act as their wingman.

A DC's job is to keep his team on their toes, aggressive and focusing their rage on the enemy. Sometimes it requires poking them with a sharp object.

Now, soldier... straighten out your spine and consider that everyone sucked at the start. Your goal isn't to get upset because you're not a top player, it's to learn how you can improve past your current level.

4.5hrs we start.

Have at least 3-4 new dudes already locked in so should be quite interesting/informative as well which will be a bit different to last week I think.

I’m
Going to try and be there. Only been playing a couple of weeks so mech selection is minimal.

What AutoMarshall probably meant to say is that he has a training program that he "borrowed" from HHOD. If it helps the community, that's fine. That material is really geared to get a person from "newb" to consistent 1000 dmg per FW match.

Not really. We (HHOD), developed a training program over years with contributions from dozens of pilots, and updates every time the meta changed. Auto became one of our trainers. But then took the program and a few pilots Again, no big. HHOD has spawned lots of units over the years. Just, credit where credit is due would be nice.

Interesting that you say it was update with META changes etc. I still see lots of HHoD users in 12-18 month old META, in fact it's more common than not in the overall sense.

Just a straight observation too, not having a go Posted Image

Limited mechs isn't a major issue. Going over how it all works, is. And the main part.
