That's TWO tons of ammo which will get you 50 seconds worth of constant fire...skilled (6LMG eat half a ton in 25 seconds, do the math).
Also Tier 4-5 are those were twisting does not happen much. So either go with stock or spread that ammo around, it will have a similar outcome. Either way that's 350 damage max...over 50 seconds constantly hitting the target (which means that with the last LMG nerf you will have to get pretty close).
While I'm talking about LMG... with MG you get 40 seconds instead of the 50. Better make good use of it.
Or tell me I forgot some way to shoehorn another ton in (skip lasers? armor?). Yeah, the heatsink could probably go, cannot tell how much that would hinder your lasers though.

Max engine (180), with minimum heatsinks (10)
Head and arms stripped
with 12 (L)MGs
Piranha will still have ~5 tons to spare LCT-1V aka Piranha mockups shows it has almost 8 tons of space, because Clan ferro is better than IS you get it very close to 8 tons, strip 1-3 points from legs and it's 8 tons.
Those machineguns take 12x 0,25 tons = 3 tons. What you are left with is ......... 5 tons
If I'd want lasers I would put 1 heavy small to head and other to CT and those weight 0,5 ton each so you are still left with 4 tons of ammo.
and that is still over 200 dmg á ton with MG and 175 dmg á ton for LMG.
personally I'm happy with that damage potential, after all it is just 20 ton light mech with ~15 DPS firepower...
PS. For comparison "meta" MLX-G looks pretty much like this and has achieved so much of QQ in here forums already (and it's running with 3 tons of ammo.).
