It shouldn't go anywhere bad, this is a constructive post. Its not about unit bashing.

Okay fine, some larger units are still carrying on the MS tradition?

Not sure what the "days loyal" has to do with it. Clearly their Planetary wins aren't tied to their loyalties.

Dude main thing here is planetes captured to games ratio. 500+ on those 4 units is absolutely rediculous. I knew it should be bad but holy chicken nuggets...

Lol, KCom didn't get all those planets as davion Loyalists. Pretty sure they were clan loyalists of some faction up until 6 days ago. So it would appear that the planetary wins stick, but wins do not, otherwise that would be mathematically unlikely, even if they won every single game with no same-side competition.

No-no-no I mean it’s impossible to get 97 wins in 6 days anyway)

Ye if you go from Loyalist to Loyalist (or Merc) it keeps the Planet Win history but not the Games Played history...

It's very silly and just another example of no testing/poor coding.

You can say its cheesy/boring/stagnating/whatever but they learned it from the big units back the day. Like MS pushing, what 3-4 planets a day?

When I was in MS in the days of old, we got plenty of flak for killing all the enemy (seal clubbing/salmon hunting...)and were asked many times to just rush the objectives. It went both ways, of course. There were moments when the ceasefire was approaching and call was made to secure planets. Planets meant more in those days as there were more unit/faction rivalries.

Hey, what planet are we attacking this phase? where's the front?
who's pushing what border?

no one knows because they destroyed that part of the game that made it matter. you can play to the objectives, but it won't help you, only total destruction of your enemy is an acceptable win.

Eh, generally the way I see gen rushing is just as another option of many. There are no rules against it, and no harm from both being prepared to do it and being prepared to fight against it.
Generally I prefer to fight if possible, but if opfor is staying at range, jumpsniping at the gates, or not even attempting to stay close to their gens, it's their loss and I don't see why I should feel bad about it. It's easy to counter if you're prepared for it: just the other day we crushed a gen rushing Linebacker team on Boreal defence because we balled up at the generator and that was it.

Sure, I'll concede that there are plenty of FP teams out there that exclusively gen rush to the detriment of their skills and tactics, but that's their prerogative and there are plenty of ways to skin a cat. If Siege wasn't supposed to be winnable by gen rushing, there'd be no gens, gates, or turrets.

I suffer from hyponatremia, so I need high amounts of salt to keep myself in good health, and gen rushing gives me just that.

1. Cbills- your players who need better mech load outs don't make **** for cbills by gen rushing.
I'unno, 400k for 5 minutes is pretty good.

2. Skill- Your players are not learning to coordinate shooting and trading and most importantly working together to bring down targets.
Twisting to spread damage while focusing your damage on one point, while having the discipline to not shoot mechs shooting at you are pretty skillful things.

If you want to see a drop caller who pushes from the front look at Pat Kell. Drop callers should be leading teams.
You haven't seen J a y drop-call, have you?

4. Positioning- If your not going to try and defeat your enemy you will never learn how to position your team correctly to do so.
If you're going to complain about gen-rushing, you will never learn how to position your team correctly to deal with gen-rushers.

Theres only 1 way to get a planet tag, and wasting time playing poke-ey peekaboo with bcmc, fun though it may be, is not it. ;)

True. You guys have improved tho, Gave us a scare on grim a week ago. Staking our preferred poke a pug point with heavy large hellbringers was very intuitive. Still we were able to maintain balance in the universe.
