1. Rule of thumb, Heaviest Mechs first. If a drop caller asks for different then go with it, but if in any doubt, Heaviest first/slowest first.

2. Regroup not reinforce. Yes its been said a few times, but it cant be stressed enough.

3. When attacking on Siege, don't get seen by the turrets or start shooting them until ready to go in en masse. The one advantage you have first wave is the defenders don't know what gate you are coming in, don't ruin it unless you want to run into a firing line of Mechs set up in perfect spots to shoot you. Even if they have 1 Mech watching another gate, that's one mech that isn't shooting you as you push in through gates/chokepoints.

4. Never bring LRMs on Siege Attack. Bringing a weapon that has a slow flight time and splashes a warning across the targets screen isn't the best way to attack Mechs that are defending behind cover. Yes you may make one Mech stay in cover until you lose lock, but its taking your Mech to do it, that isn't a good trade. If you must bring them, then Defense or the Quick Play maps only, never when attacking.
