So when are they coming?

I love how much the Yankies are whinging about this: "Boo-Hoo, I'm going to turn off Oceanic cause I want meta ping, Boo-Hoo-Hoo"

What I love though is since the server will be based in Sydney I can drop F's and C's as much as I want under NSW law.

Both words can be used inoffensively as long as they aren't used to describe a person, for example:

"I've had a C of a day" - OK

"Did you see that Fwit with the Lurms" - Not OK.

Where are you seeing that? Neither location is going to give a low ping to US players, so a move shouldn't matter much.
Actually checking city to city it looks like most US players would get better ping to Sydney.

WOT has had a 'peak only' server running in Sydney for six months or so. Probably same provider, hence why the trial.

If that's the case, then that is the case. However most comments here from American players tend to sway towards the "High ping, I'm out" side of the discussion before actually giving it a go.

This yankee has Aussie quality internet and thus does not give a **** perhaps the ping will be marginally better.
