I already have the loyalty versions of them all and didn't particularly enjoy them enough that I'd then want to buy the basic versions. But what I meant by cheaper...

Griffin 3M and 5M both have the same chassis, XL engine size and DBL heat sinks, # of jump jets, and armor. The difference is an ERPPC/LRM20/Small Laser vs a Light gauss/LRM10/small laser. The 5M is however 200MC/480,000 Cbills cheaper which is slightly more than the difference in weapon fits should be worth.

The same thing happens with all the others... the kitfox G in particular is the cheapest kitfox of them all by a lot of cbills, even though it has the most expensive weapons of any of them besides the C variant (with its active probe and triple AMS). It has an ECM at 400k, an ERLL at 400k, a pair of LRM10s at 250k each and the ERML at 120k. Yet the Prime with a streak-4 (180k), ERLL (400k), SPL (32k) and LB-5X (500k) is over 912k more expensive.

You needed that much every single time the game patched. If your drive is so small and so cluttered that you don't have 10 GB free HDD space, then it's time to upgrade to a bigger drive.

If PGI didn't mean to sell the VTR-9A1 for C-bills, and they pull it from inventories like the warhorns, I better get reimbursed a HELL of a lot more than the cost of the mech. I bought one, and spent several million additional c-bills kitting it out, on skill points, etc.

Or do you mean like how you tried to abuse the Kit Fox portion of the Lunar New Year's Event for 99 extra warhorns? Posted Image

You're really going to try to call me an abuser? That's really nasty, and I think may be bordering on a CoC Violation, as that happens to be considerable as a 'personal attack' or 'wrongful name and shame'. I seriously hope you're joking about acting like that towards me. Posted Image
[...]

It was followed by a winky-face, the usual indication of a joke. I doubt any serious implications were meant by the statement.

Also, you seem unnecessarily irritable today. Let's not look for insults where there are none. Had it not been patched before I got a chance to play, then I would have tried to abuse the typo myself Posted Image .

He wasn't incorrect though. 10 gigs free space has been a requirement for every patch for years now. I'm not sure you understand how patching files actually works. There has to be room to store a duplicate copy of every file being patched, before the patch happens, because the game essentially makes a backup to then compare the results of the patched files to, in order to check that it has functioned properly (the whole verifying the patch stage). Hell the initial install requires 50 gb of free space, and at a minimum there needs to be 25gb of space to run the game continually.

https://mwomercs.com/game/download

Hard Drive Space 25GB (50GB temporarily required during installation)

I don't know if it's a bug on my PC or what, but after the patch, the IS UAC20 sound effect is gone.
When I fire it on my Atlas it's mute.... Posted Image

Good then I am not crazy. The ultra 10 have no sound either. Tried 3 differant mechs with ultra 10s and all with no sound.

My IS UAC10s and UAC20s also make no noise. I haven't tried with any other UACs yet since the patch.

@ PGI Staff ---

Okay, I see this Red "Maintenance Downtime Warning" in the Game Client. However, there is NOT a News Post as to why this message is present. Would you please tell us what's going on and the changes to occur, and provide a HotFix Patch Download Link in the same awesome manner as you did with February's Monthly Patch? It would be highly appreciated. :o

Seems possible that it is maintenance or something else not requiring us to patch. A heads up on whether we will need to patch would be appreciated, as well as notification of changes if this is a hot-fix.

Aaand we have our answer. They are fixing the urbie quirk and increasing the volume of uacs (apparrently too quiet after patch).

And still no heat dissipation quirks for the A-Cheetah and A-Wolf Omni's with the 240 engines.

The heat dissipation quirks for the urbies are working a charm in conjunction with skills. My 5 mpl k9 is doing very well now.
