IIRC the AS7-K2 has a Streak 6 in each ST. Otherwise its just artwork based of the Atlas in MW4 which has missile racks on both sides for some reason (a lot of 'hardpoints' in MW4 are just weird).

A lot of artwork of the Atlas have missiles on both sides, even some of the figurines from what I have seen on image searches. Guess it's just one of those aesthetic things that simply stuck with the design.

Are those mechs mixed tech or something? How are they getting leg heat sinks. Also are they the only solaris mechs or can any mech compete?

Those are the standard Single Heatsinks. They only take one slot.

Did you actually bother reading the information it provides? Most of them are running SHS, save the MDD and the Banshee.

Nope :) but i appreciate peoples responses.

Meet the new Firestarter Hero, same as the old Firestarter Hero!

Also...I may actually pull the trigger in this, though I don't care at all for Solaris itself.

I didn't scroll enough to see if someone pointed it out so I'm sorry if people already did (and they probably have), but the energy/ballistic slots are swapped for the new one.

Some think its bad, I personally like it. Lets me track my MGs or other ballistics on the target while the energy weapons cool until I can line up the torso again. Also significantly better paintjob; the old Ember's paintjob...sucks...terribly...

That atlas with missile hardpoints in each ST, is it an actual variant or is it just an art?

Its an actual variant.

Specifically the Atlas K as it is supposed to look in lore.
(Two racks of 10 tubes each = the LRM-20 as fluffed in Atlas K.)

There's only 2 or 3 other Atlases that have more than 5 tubes for the LRM launcher, and the SRM launcher is left chest plate.
For all other Atlases of the AS7-variety, the LRM-20 is the 5 tube hip launcher mounted on the left.
Atlas K's TRO said they didn't have time to remove its housing before rolling it into production due to needing to fashion new armor pieces that they didn't have time to design (they also didn't have time to rework the base design into double heatsinks as planned, either.)

Removing the SRM launcher is how they were able to get a proper LRM-20 in, even then they had to split the tubes (due to the coolant hookup on the left torso).

Atlas K is the first Atlas to roll out like this, 3052.
