So trapped again.
I was sure I do not buy any mech pack in advance again because there is no more need, but .....
I did it again.
3 Blood Asp are mine.
And only because of the promise of the high mounts an 4 high ballistic slots for 4xUAC2s.
Shame on me.

Just think of your money as 30 more minutes of servers not shutting down.

Personally I'd put bigger ballistics than 4 UAC2s on 90 tonner. Oops, did I just say something to upset the fun police? Is my helping advice again considered internet trolling?

I have 4 x Mad Cat MKII with bigger ballistics.
One BA will become a 4 x UAC2 with 4 or 6 ERML in the first because of the high shoulder mounts.
I hope all UAC2s will be that high.
(Just had a match with 800 dmg with my Shadow Hawk 3 x AC2 and 1 ML. I love ballistics)

One will be meta 2 x Gaus and 2 x ERLL (plus maybe some ERSML in the arms).

And one I am not sure.

(By the way, it IS a omni mech with swappable pods and fixed engine, right?)

Yep, the fat boys are worth the money.
And to be honest, 16,- Euros for 3 mechs is so f****** cheap. No need to wait for the nervhammer.

Buying mechpacks is a double edged sword... Yes you help fund the game you love, but is the game you love actually being funded or is it funding other games (MW5) and getting jack all done here.. content wise..

Yes i know Solaris is "coming" but that is meaningless to a lot of customers not interested in arena gameplay..

I guess 3x UAC/5 + lasers or 2ERPPC all mounted high up there on the ST will be a good loadout.

I'm not a big fan of the Madcat Mk II as I think the final model deviated from the concept art too much with how fat it is with the arms, etc. I'm looking forward to what they attempt with the Blood Asp to be a more sexy 90 ton mech. I think it will have better quirks over the Mk II as well because it's an omnimech with locked equipment, as well as quirks being sets of 8/8 that also are a limiting factor.

im pretty much saving money for mw5. only problem is every time i get up to 30 bucks i blow it at the dope shop.

I would have considered buying the Asp but, just can't pill the trigger because PGI will nerf them ASAP so that you'll buy another OP mech and then, that pattern just repeats.....so sad....but, true. Good luck with the Asps' though; in a few weeks, the smallest light will destroy you with a small laser and a light MG.

Well that is a matter of perspective

I've bought Stellaris for that money, as a matter of fact I've bought a good amount of games this and last month from a Steam sale
New and old
Or remastered in the case of StarCraft HD at Christmas.

So what does spending in MWO give me? A new map per year?
Yeah yeah, Solaris maps coming.

Gonna see how that mode goes (if I had to guess the way of the Dodo rather fast).

It's not like the AI can be a lot worse than many players in MWO

Don't feel bad... They got me too..

First standard mechpack I ever pre-ordered... Well technically my fiancee gifted me with it.. cose' I could not shut up about how good the Blood Asp looks..

Maybe I'll finally learn how to play with Gauss properly.. I gave up trying it on the Deathstrike, but now are rekindling the urge with the 2xHGauss Annihilator..

Based on the arts (they are pretty consistent), I'd guess that the protruding "head" is all CT and its always exposed (not good).
