The removal of the respec fee is awesome. The Cache refund is slightly less so, but its about what I expected.

I was hoping/expecting for existing unopened loot boxes to be converted into new loot boxes rather than being sold for spacebucks.

but im not out of hsp yet. and i doubt i will be before the game dies. a million gxp is hard to get rid of.

Lol wouldn't u use existing hxp or current xp to respec a mech tho?

thing was before the skill tree i had mastered every mech in the game and i sold the ones i didnt like. so i have hxp stacked everywhere, even on mechs that i sold. if i were to buy them back they would get free mastery anyway. ive also insta-mastered every new cbill mech that has come out since then and i havent sold any post skill tree. of course im starting to run out of mech bays so i might have to start selling things again, alas no refunds on the second go round. i got the too many mech blues.

I mean respec fees with exp, as in experience makes no logical sense, even for gameplay reasons.
I have experienced to do something, I just cant un/ de experience something unless I have gottan a serious headtrauma and memory loss. Not saying Battletech pilot wouldnt get that in the heat of battle.. Then respec, relearn a skill would make a bit sense..

I'd be more worried about what losing 32bit platform does to the game populations.. From what i've seen and read a great number of gamers here still use really old crap computers.. so will this remove even more of the population..


Will people really upgrade to win 10 64bit or just move on..

But you do not get SP back though... ... 400xp/gxp was easy to spend.,. what will happen now is that people will still continue to complain that they did not get their SP back from nodes they are no longer using...

My issue is that even for those using 64bit OS, 32bit game allowed a workaround for memory/performance issues by reducing the amount of ram the game is allotted, even with those running 8gigs of ram.

Nice, no more respec fees when you want to change out your omnimech to another build. (buff to clans! *fueling fire*)

Supply caches are kind of expected with what they're doing, if we got our current inventory caches changed out for new ones that might cause a stir.

Also, loving the number of decals being increased. 6 is not enough. 9 you can actually start making artwork. Still not enough, but it's a welcomed change.

I have over 660,000 GXP, I wish they would give me a use for it. Like some kind of pilot avatar skill system that lets you specialize a little more. Can be tiny bonuses.


The skill tree respec has already driven away a lot of players that weren't rich and didn't have mass GXP and Cbills...So good job waiting this many months to fix that. You realize that since they're gone now, they wont hear the news.

I don't really feel much affected by the no-respec thing, cose' I rarely ever respecked, and when I did, it was usually on mechs with plenty of unused XP, so I never really felt that those xp and cbill costs were an issue.. But yaaay for those that did!

Supply Caches need to be converted and not just sold off...

Not seeing what I'll be getting from a supply cache is not an issue, if I get stuff I don't need, I'll just sell it off..

Somehow, I doubt that supply caches will now be coming with many mechs and XL engines.. most will probably contain mundane stuff, with MC-only stuff sprinkled in.. and things that were super rare.. I doubt PGI will give those out much..

But you never know..
