Now you're taking that conversation out of context feel free to prune my stats all you want. I don't care and have nothing to be ashamed of.

Solo queue is far easier to play in. I mean that is why it's there. Groups was too hard for you guys.

Yes, because knowing who has your back and that your team is all going to be working together makes things harder than pulling wins amongst a bunch of rando's who play builds to have fun (which I'm totally OK with by the way, just try to win with it) or lore warrior with...

Wow, I had no idea this thread would rage on for so long... I stopped reading it and posting on it after like, page 5... now its up to 30 pages... dang. Well maybe I just hit a nerve... what were we arguing about anyway?

Just kidding... yep 12 mgs is still OP in any mech... what you say? Only 1 mech can boat that many? Ok point taken.

Sorry for being in my U-AC/2 Rifleman sometimes. It's just too funny.

As a side note-this thread is uncomfortably reminding me of that thread I made with the picture of the Javelin's lack of a seat, but far more palatable. Be glad.

Seeing as I play with just one or two friends... yeah such advantage. Would you like to seem my over a 1000 and still lost matches where my team carried me so hard?

I think it was about how much of an embarrassment it was that you called yourself an assault main when you do not even know the simplest of counters nor ever played a light.

It's simply easier to coordinate to win as a group amongst other groups than it is as a rando amongst rando's, PERIOD.

Now I know you're delusional AND out of the loop of recent play. Consistent performance in quick play without reliable team-mates is about as easy to generate good stats on a consistent basis as juggling chainsaws with your hands covered in motor oil. While on fire.

It's force multiplication, not speculation. Even if each subgroup is on a different channel, each group is specifically working together to augment the others in the sub group, and the larger group at the same time. 2 people working in coordination equal 3 working as individuals.

SQ is more often like herding cats than directing a battle, and that kind of active/directed coordination is rare.

Here we go, recording of my Warhawk running into three Piranha, killing one with a double ER PPC shot to the chest then standing up to fire from the other two without suffering an armor breech:

Note that even without teammate fire support, I still probably would have killed the second Piranha, and still been able to engage the third.

Piranha aren't scary if A: you point front towards enemy and B: you shoot it until it dies

And that's come from someone that plainly sucks at shooting; just look at how I have to use advanced zoom all the time because my eyes suck.

Not being an armchair QB, and I'd say your shooting was really good. What I noticed is that they came at you on a bridge, which was stupid since its basically like being stuck in an alley and having to run straight at you. I'm not sure it would have went so well for you if they could have went wide and then behind you. But then again you are good at the game so maybe it wouldn't have made a difference.

So you're just doing a bunch of 1v1's

Note; even after this battle I didn't think MGs were OP, and LMGs got nerfed soon afterwards:

At the time, I considered them to just be good at clubbing seals that are too bad/inexperienced at the game to know how to protect their thin rear armor.
Right now I think LMGs to be kinda garbage; only regular MGs are worth using now, and only when boated in numbers of at least 6.

I still think MGs are only truly good for clubbing bad/inexperienced players, and even then it requires a good player to do the clubbing.

I consider myself to be 'above average' at the game at best; I honestly think I should deserve be Tier 2 instead of Tier 1.

The enemy Piranha did make a bad mistake, which allowed me to keep my front armor to them at all times.
My shooting was honestly not that great either; I should have been hitting the CT of the 2nd Piranha instead of its RT. If I'd done that with all my shots, I would have killed it with just 4 ER PPC hits.

Sometimes yes, if my opponents give me the opportunity. Though usually you will find me actively at the front of a push (in my lights) doing my best to force multiply with rando's, and trying to fill the holes in the lines that can cause the teams I find myself on to collapse. I personally play for the W and do what I can to secure them.

The number of times I've seen a KONG/GONK drop carry a 12-man versus me carrying a 12-man QP group is significantly in favor of the unit drops. Teamwork is a boon to your W/L ratio, even if you run into the hellscape that's a world champion team dropping across the map from you.

But heck, you haven't even played since they beat literally everyone last year. Heck, have you even played any significant amount since the Civil War update?

The NPE is different than vets talking higher level gameplay. At some point in the NPE, a player eventually has to learn how to fly, and that involves getting better.
