I don't have a Warhammer, so I can't test it exactly, but I did put the same config on a Battlemaster

My results are;

3xLLaser
4xMLaser

ER Lasers

31 SHS
In Game Dissipation = 1.26
Peak Heat Spike = 35%
Number of Alphas = 4

42 SHS
In Game Dissipation = 1.47
Peak Heat Spike = 27%
Number of Alphas = 9

NON-ER Lasers

31 SHS
In Game Dissipation = 1.32
Peak Heat Spike = 26%
Number of Alphas = 6

42 SHS
In Game Dissipation = 1.53
Peak Heat Spike = 20%
Number of Alphas = 14

1) A static picture taken at the start of a laser burn can be quite deceptive. A video showing it would have proven it more.
2) The picture could have been edited (probably is). Like, how is that Warhammer going 21kph in reverse at 1/4 reverse throttle?
3) Could have been hacking.
4) Spectator has been known to have very weird issues at times.
5) Looking at OP's topic posting history... yah BS sensors going off big time.

And before the OP or other clam apologists butt in saying that this proves IS is OP, this is with using 31 and 41 tons dedicated to nothing but heat sinks, probably using a low rated XL engine that will die on ST loss, and on a mech much heavier than the OP is complaining about...

Correct for the 42 HS build, although the 31 HS build is combat viable, and could be tweaked to be more so

And for the record, I'm of the opinion that all things considered, balance is pretty damn close ATM. Both sides have a few Mechs that overperform, but they are outliers. The major issue is that most players don't use them correctly, and when they come across players that do, the difference is night and day.

31 HS (armoured and a viable build)

42 HS (not armoured and not viable)

MadIIc

37 SHS
xl 350
2 hvy large lasers
6 ER medium lasers

40% smurfy heat efficency 78 damage alpha strike

Probably one of the best blends of mobility durability damage output and sustainability.

... Why is everyone scrambling around wondering how the screenshot exists?

It really is obvious to anyone who has played MWO over any period of time:

Lasers generate heat as they burn.
He took the screenshot as the lasers were burning but had yet to reach the apex (you can even see in the picture all of the lasers just went on cooldown).

The bar simply didn't reach the top yet. No photoshop, no mystical quirks. Just hitting print screen as the shot fired.

Me in the screeny, dont know how the OP seen it, some facts.
Build, placement.
Full STD armor, max everywhere cept 17 on head i think.
STD 300 engine 2xDHS.
Speed. 69.4.
Heat Eff. 1.2.
R-arm. 1xDHS, 1xML (all lasers are ER).
R-torso. 3x DHS, 1xLL, 1xML.
L-torso. 2x DHS, 2xLL, 1xML.
L-arm. 1x DHS, 1xML.
1x arty strike, no Coolshot.

On Grim, retested several times, Alpha heat is 43%, on rapid fire salvo on 3rd salvo it shuts down, non rapid fire salvoes (leaving bit time for cooling) 4th salvo crit heat.
As i was playing some peek a boo, i would say slow salvoes, so say 4 before i would of went crit on heat and withdrawn from fire spot.
Usually i seldom Alpha with 2 groups, i will normally fire 1 then very short delay 2 if situation needs it, habit is usually not to Alpha, with this build it makes no diff. Tested several times on grim Alpha = 43% heat, my usual fire1 wait fire2 netted same heat basically.
I dont use macros, no hack involved.
Something odd i noticed in Screeny, it shows my no1 firing group as having 3xll AND 1xml, not so, group1 is only 3xll.

IMHO, people whine to much about Clan superiority, i think IS is very strong specially in Lasers, but thats another debate.

OP, think you mistook the timeframe of the engagement or are exaggerating a bit, the screeny is deceiving, as people point out it depends at which time in the Burn it was taken.

Can you put what the post is about instead of just REALLY? on the title. Very tabloidish. That is the real crime here.

I am so done with this. Really pgi? Really? Is this what we're doing? This is the 3rd time I've seen a build like this and it functions. Full laser boat and he alphas the WHOLE GAME and generates 15% heat a volley? No **** that. Fix clan. I'm so tired of this so-called balancing they are doing there.

Had to remove quite a lot of posts for personal attacks. Since this thread is going nowhere im closing it down. Should you feel you have found a bug, feel free to post in patchfeedback with details about the issue and a way to replicate it (if you have one).
