3 Heavy Larges is way too hot, I recommend only 1.

Reticle says 3m while being positioned over the building in G6.

Edit: Just checked in testing grounds and it shows more like 600+ meters distance.

Exactly, all my view was clear from the building but 3m was still shown. That's a large invisible wall right on that building corner!

Yup, invisible walls everywhere in this game. I despise HPG because it's so bad on that map. So many lost shots because this crap. "But it's computationally too expensive to make them match the terrain". Then don't make terrain that complex FFS. Just so amateur.

(Yes, I know it's collision hit boxes that don't match the visuals. Common name is invisible walls, get over it.)

That big open space right in the middle promotes poking game play, thats whats wrong with that picture..

While there are invisible walls in MWO, due to LOD and CE terrain subdivs, but on that corner? the hit boxes match.

What I think is happening here is something fairly unique to MWO that you won't see in other FPS games. And is due to how the ray casting isn't done down from the camera to the reticule, but is cast from the weap hardpoint, which can be quite far from the camera.

Ray casting for weapons targeting is done from the hardpoint, but for the rangefinder it should cast from the camera.

all I see are 3 hvyLL. on a Linebacker.
for fun, I tried 2 back when hvyL were introduced
-and found 2 to be a) not enough for Laservom b.) way too hot.
and you run 3, where my Linebacker choked on 2.

yeah, invisible walls are a problem and annoying. yet, you as a player can't do anything about it.
but you -can- change that loadout, dude.. Posted Image

It is skirmish and no one is defending the H line from the enemy's push into H8-G8. That is what's wrong.

It's not too hot if you don't alpha... and the LBK is very agile and fast so I can poke and fire 2 then 1 and cover 5 seconds and I'm ready to fire again. Anyway I would not play it if it was garbage.

Invisible walls are old as this game. They obviously care little about it.

What? What's hidden behind ******?

And that unique coolant shot was under performing and it will be even worse with next patch so I guess a UAV will be a better choice.
