Generally, the complaint has to actually have truth or it's frequently picked apart by forumgoers.

Everyone i checked in this thread complaining about losses have an acceptable win/loss ratio. Except for one guy that only had 10 match which isnt enough to make any assumption. No one takes the time to remember the wins.

If the chances of winning each match was 0.5, you should expect very roughly that every 2000 matches you would be starting an 11-match losing streak. Actually, since MWO has > 2000 players, _someone_ is probably in a 11-match losing streak at any time.

Sucks when its you (I know the feeling).

^ There's very little to add to this really. Losing streaks happen. You can reduce (but not eliminate) the likelihood by playing well.

Weekends, events etc. don't change things. They might bring more casuals or tryhards in metamechs, but they're as likely to be on the enemy team and won't affect your win chance.

Pity soooo many good players have left in the last 8-12 months. Skill maze was the last straw for many (on top of FP3.0) Posted Image

I've noticed this too. Back when I started playing the game when the Viper had first been announced, nascar was a thing that happened more rarely but when it did happen, players were smart enough to stop and form a firing line at a choke point that the enemy team would be rushing into. No one really had to call it out - folks did a stop and turn out of instinct. Those players in quick drops are LONG gone to other, better games.

I find most QP games are a matter of carry. Do you have a few people who can make multiple kills to compensate for the inevitable double-digit doofuses? It might be win time for you. Maybe you're pulling 2, 3 solo kills and you'll be the MVP this time. And if you can't seem to get past killing one on your lonesome, at least you pulled your own weight even when nobody else pulled theirs.

Then there's those games where someone gets else gets 7 kills and you wonder if you actually did anything other than attract fire.

QP at it's finest, chaos and mob mentality. If you want to face organized play then there is GQ and FP, and where tactics successful in QP pugging will make you a seal.
