When you call in a strike at the end... and die before it arrives... the damage it does isn't recorded in your end match results and thus doesn't increase your match score at all. And even if its blows components off an enemy, or kills him, without recording the damage to your account, it also won't score a kmdd for you as a result.

Hi there, Dee Eight... This problem has been Ongoing since last year, and totally ignored by PGI's Developer Staff, even though I filed a Bug Report about it. Have a look at https://mwomercs.com/forums/topic/259568-artillery-strike-damage-not-registering-after-death/ for the earlier instance of my reporting this. I would almost bet this affects Air Strikes as well.

Good. Strikes shouldn't count toward your total ANYWAY.

Shame on you... It takes SKILL AND EFFORT to land one of those on an opponent. Because of that, if Strike Damage doesn't count, then people are not being honestly awarded for their efforts. Sadly, that's a problem that MWO has been suffering from for too long, and needs fixing. People should ALWAYS BE REWARDED for the effort that they put in!
