Kindly nerf bushwhackers. It should be painfully obvious why.

No.
Look up the Arctic Wolf, ACW-1 variant. SRM4 x 8 (or even 9) makes this competitive with—if not outright superior to—the Bushwacker in almost every way.
Don't want to brawl? Build a fast mech (100+KPH) with 700+ range. Alpha, retreat, repeat. Aim for one leg.
It's all about tactics—or, more accurately, complete lack thereof. I can't tell you how many players I've seen rush headlong into a Bushwhacker / Griffin SRM pack, and get torn apart without even breaking 100 damage. And then they complain—when half of them are running LRM Adders or something equally ridiculous, that has *no business* even being that close.
Play dumb, die quick. Faction Play PUG motto.

to play better then innersphere to make up for these differences. Note I am not saying clan cannot play on equal ground as innersphere but that the requirement to do so is much more demanding for clan players. You see that just in these troll IS responses. Go for the legs, that is an actual tactic that although most likely a poor one to use. Innersphere does not need such a thing when they will blow out your ct in 2 shots. But yea don't target legs, for one both legs have more armor then just targeting the center torso. No one intelligent is putting ammo in their legs right now if they can help it, and your SRMS if you can even angle them low enough in a brawl will not hit legs due to how high mount scouting clan mechs are, not to mention spread.

Have 4 piranhas.
Gather mode. Intel. Hide.Dive into dropship at last second.
Protect intel mode. Zerg up all the intel.Hide.Enemy wins with zero intel.
Bushwhackers neutralized.

The OP complains about Bushwackers and you are seriously advising him (and others) to ignore the advice to just go easy-mode (legs) and to try to get that CT? Either you don’t Scout much or you don’t win much at scouting, because legs is pretty much the way to win more against them. It’s not a troll...it’s common knowledge...works great if your group all does it.

MMU sends its deepest condolences if we accidentally traumatized you mentaly during our encounter in scouting. You had a Huntsman with streaks and we had bushwackers with streaks. Perhaps you should maintain your ammunition better. I hope you recover soon and we fight again.
