While I like the ideas, there is a problem. The backend system handling Group Queue Tonnage has a minimum line for 12-man that requires more tonnage than 12 Urbies (360 Tons) uses. I severely hate to say it, but somebody is going to end up in an Assault. Sorry about that. By the way, the 60-Model Default Engine is too slow. You'll get ripped up faster than you can say "Monkey's Uncle"...

The only "fault" is that you can't complete all the event tasks using Urbies since there is currently no Urbie that mounts ECM.

we had a 12man urbie-drop few days ago in a conquest match, first wave. it was awesomesauce and I still chuckle thinking back to it.

The orginal MWO urbbie as an april fools joke that soon had most of us yelling take my money and give us the can. Come on PGI, make MWO fun once more, even if for only 1 day

Hey, Fellow MechWarriors... PGI really should wait until April 2nd before announcing, so that we can be certain that we'll actually see those Mechs happen. I honestly and seriously want to see the Clan UrbanMech-IIC happen, as well as added variants for the I.S. Urbie...

It made me way too salty last year when they made a joke of the "Enhanced Imaging" (aka "WireFrame Mode") that I used to know and enjoy back in "MechWarrior 2"... I only had like an old 'Intel Pentium 200 /w MMX' to use back in those days, and it was tough to maintain gaming-level performance. Being able to display all as WireFrames at the time helped massively with system performance, allowed simplistic visualization of damage on Enemy Mechs, and let the game run reasonably smooth. Frankly, if I could have that again, I would probably use it in a good share of battle rounds.

Simply put though, I don't want more about UrbanMechs to end up treated the same way as the "Enhanced WireFrame Imaging"... Neither should be treated as a joke, and it horribly slammed my general opinion about PGI when they did that.

Question about these events. For instance the 'Shoot down 2 UAV's' does that have to be in the same mission? Same with the Urbie Damage, same with detecting enemies with UAV's?

And I think this event is just eggs-celent.

All of these are cumulative - you can accumulate them in multiple matches. Also, except for the Protected Medium score all can be done in an Urbie.

Thanks, and I just got a 'Counter ECM' on a battle, but it didn't count for the event. Is there something I should know? I got close to an enemy with ECM in disrupt mode, switched my ECM to counter, and got the 'You countered ECM' message and CB's and exp. Maybe a delay?

Ok, just got another one, I got the points for a 'Counter ECM Damage' but this event did not unlock. Any guidance would be appreciated.
