So, seen the same guy twice now in 1v1 div 7.

Vindi 1x

2xsmall laser. 1xMRM40, 3xHMG.


Guess how fast he chews through pretty much everything, he's ranked 3rd on the boards right now... no losses.

daww i was going to run that tonight when I got home.

also its not the mgs on that build. its the mrm. The mgs just let you get some dps in while cooling off.

The MG's ruin the crit system, taking out absolutely ANYTHING that's stripped due to the buffs to MG crit chance.

MRM's are strong, but frankly, I have an easier time dealing with those... still.. perhaps you're right, but those weapons, paired as they are, is going to break this **** wide open... SECONDS of fighting vs a grey death and it was over... there's just no hope.

This is how solaris is designed though. In the first few days youre going to see 1-3 mechs shake out of every division as the clear overperformers, and then if you don't have that mech and build, you wont be able to compete.

Tried 2 1vs1 games. Died within 5 secs (vs. Uziel with 2 RACs and Vindi-1X, see above). Going back to QP.

No fun.

Vindicator 1X has a hefty 25% missile cooldown. So it can skin you with an MRM40 at 3 second interval. Gut you with the broke MG crit mechanics.
