I would trade 90% of the players in this game as human sacrifices to get more Duncan Fisher commentary.
But hey, you don't have to trade any players for human sacrifice. Russ is already working on getting more Duncan Fisher lines into the game (according the the NGNG stream from the other day).
Even from the streams, it's pretty obvious that it is going to be a bit repetitive, but it definitely needs to be there. Duncan is exactly the kind of thing we need more of in MWO.

And why is every fight I load into supposedly a close match? Really? They certainly don't feel like it.
It's because there hasn't been time for ELO to distribute out. A difference of 200 points right now is pretty big, but once you have players sitting at something like 3000 it won't be nearly as significant. That's my take on it at least, we'll see how it is once people have played for a bit.

Also, in universe an announcer may hype up a match up to keep people interested. If it's a guaranteed stomp, there's probably less explosions and hard pounding action for the spectator.

But imagine if the lines were context-sensitive. A "terribad" wins against a "tryhard" and Duncan goes "What an upset! Such a humbling defeat!".

I agree. Commentators generally fill dead air time when they can. I'm sure the game can detect if no player is in combat and have some lines for Duncan there.

More lines are always good. I'm sure writers will have some idea on what's good to add after some feedback.

It's fascinating how accurate the prophesies have been so far.
Welcome to the club... I've been batting an 800 so far on my predictions for MWO since 2014...

This is is tedious, hope elo will sort this out.
Another annoyance is that he only decides whether a match is 'a stomp' by total winner's health remaining. I had a few exciting matches when both I and the enemy ran around cored red and deperately tried to outmaouver one another to get that last shot in without getting shot at. Of course immediately after I won or lost duncan became to insult the looser because apparently coring the enemy red does not count as proper fighting.
Running mrm dps monster and shooting people shield arms and torsos off is ok, but go for the CT with a precise build and you can be sure you gonna get insulted on every single defeat, no matter how close the match actually was.

Much like Monkey, I have always liked Duncan. Never skipped a single intro in MW4 Solaris games, as I always had fun just listening and watching.
Also kinda got me in that 'Get ready to fight' state of mind.
