Solaris 7 Medium Vs. Assault

Had an Arctic Wolf dance circles around my Annihilator and do more than twice the damage that I did, but I took him out with relative ease once I put him in my sights. In another match a Huntsman pilot did the same thing to my Mauler, but again the same story, I guess two MRM40s to the legs of a Huntsman is enough.... I know that a really skilled pilot can bridge this gap, but I don't see it happening too often and absolutely not against another pilot of equal or greater skill.
Now I am NOT advocating making legs invulnerable or some other dickery, just perhaps a relook at this tier system especially for 1v1.
What are your thoughts?

That would be why the assault should just jam his *** up against a wall.

I have seen some issues in the 25 matches I had. One being shooting a arm on a Cent only to watch the damage spread to every armor plate.
One shot AC 20
Otherwise its fine.

My thoughts is that div1 is lel.
Clearly PGI have a comically high opinion of the HMN to place it against the best assaults in the game, as well as up against apparently the 'best' heavy brawler, the QKD IV kek

I dont know it makes no sense
If they were doing 7 divisions, the way it shouldve worked was this:
Division 7: worst lights
Division 6: worst mediums, average lights
Division 5: worst heavies, average mediums, good lights
Division 4: worst assaults, average heavies, good mediums, best lights
Division 3: average assaults, good heavies, best mediums
Division 2: good assaults, best heavies
Division 1: best assaults
PGI screwed it up though obviously

PGI might have screwed up that framework even more

I'm a freaking Huntsman fanboy and I think it was a terrible idea.
Seriously, it's good, but not 'solo 100 tonner easily with full attention' good. Just 'Better than the Hunchback IIC in nearly everything that matters' good.
