D2 is pretty fun lots of diversity in mechs and builds.
D3 is the same
D4 is a toss up. It's funny tho best performing mech s are the mediums going up against some assaults and heavys.
I don't play any others but D7 looks the most popular as the top scores overall coming from here
Just curious what others thought and wanted to vent about 24/7 t1 Annihilators.

Unfortunately, in Solaris, ridge poking isn't a great tactic anyway, speed doesn't matter quite that much, and there's no one else to shoot at it.
Sucks, but it is what it is. The kind of nerfs you propose to make the Annihilator 'fair' in Solaris would kill it in the other modes.

Haven't looked at Div 2 much.
It's the same thing in each division. One or 2 top performers.

I want to see people at the top facing off in similar mechs, if not than it is no longer a matter of skill but mech choice.
It is also a double edged sword because we want mech diversity but at the same time that will mean that our unique mechs will always have some at the top and others at the bottom.
Solaris will devolve into much tighter meta then quick play or CW and the best players have been saying that since the thing was announced.

That's honestly terrible game design, and I'm still mad they did this to flamers. Changing the rules of how things work is confusing and bad design, and in MWO its even worse since the game explains basically nothing and unless you follow the patch notes you'd never know how or why anything works the way it does.

Doesn't work against good pilots.
Let the potato advice flourish so we can farm the noobs who listen to it. It at least gives some variety and free wins to the anni div. OP is right in that it's pretty boring to just have anni turrets shooting each other and that's the entirety of the gameplay

I'm a casual player, and so far I've only tried out D7 a few times. In the beginning it was a lot of fun, people were bringing different mechs and employed different strategies. Lately though, its just been the top mech in the division simply charging up close to fire all weapons. No strategy, not even bothering to twist, because there's no need to. It's just a matter of who has the most armor/firepower.
Lately, only a few people were online in D7, so hopefully we'll see more diversity when there's more people. If not, this is going to get boring real fast.
