I would LOVE to attack a Super Heavy VIP. I almost feel bad attacking an unarmed target. So an AI target that shoots back would be fun.

Heck yes same here! the vip atlas seriously needs to be able to defend itself, its what change is missing the most

One on each team.
Stomp towards each other and blow each other up.
Both teams on escort and can give their super heavy an advantage by dealing out damage to the enemy super heavy.

That would sound like a fun mode, 2 teams face off with the objective to destroy the others tripod. But that tripod is armored well and has the firepower to take on 3 lances

An IS company plus four tripods vs a Clan FP combat group. That could the new mode called Annihilation or Extermination.

I'm not in love in with the Jihad, but dark ages is actually a lot of fun. Trash age? Hell no!

I'm also legit curious what this new il khan era is going to look like, too...

Damn right, Dark Age was pretty fun. Nothing beats getting a rare or unique mech in booster, then bringing it with a set army to meet your friends and show it off. Then layout the map and start rolling out the dice.

Tabletop games have something that internet games don't have, and that is true social interaction. I still interact with the same people I play Dark Age, even long after the game is dead and they are playing other games.

Yeah I miss that.

Miss also the experience of a party of mechs taking apart a giant boss.

The current VIP has more armor than a 500 ton mech, given that super heavy mechs really only go up to 150 tons, you'll be disappointed at the lack of increase in durability compared with the super quirked Anni.

As long as he do the NovaCat thing on the parrots - don't give those mofos the chance to fight back, burn them, gas them. Every day you don't kill a Jade Parrot is a lost day, and if you don't have a parrot at hand any Kerenskylite will do.

Yeah for sure.
Let the coward Kerensky and his stupid followers die at influence or eaten by Aliens.

And then let's throw away what ppl likes more: clans.

Face it: mw2, mw3, even mw4, mwo for sure.

And about TT, face even this truth, Karl: it is NOT the balance what makes a game FUN.

Long live the Clans but all glory to Clan Nova Cat.

Back to the original premise yes I want to eviscerate a super Heavy. I am the crouching cat that sees all.

That's true for the standard weight classes, but not superheavies.

Keep in mind Karl was talking about the standard weightclasses.

No, go read the post you originally replied to, heck read the section you quoted.
He's talking about how certain 100 tonners would be significantly better if they were just 5 tons heavier, due to the shift in the construction rules.
