1. Nobody and i mean NOBODY is scared of an Uziel
2. No matter what you stand next to people will stop shooting it and focus fire you
3. This thing is squishie even with a full survival tree
4. Despite insane levels of acceleration and twist speed it sucks at rolling damage
Its insane i can stand next to a dakka madcat and people are willing to face tank it to shoot me, i have stood in the middle of a death ball and im am priority target. Though there is a flip side to this, as people are so willing to commit to killing the Uziel they will loose the game to try and kill it.
it really needs some armor quirks mainly to the ST of it as they will fall off when somebody breathes on them with a small laser
As for Solaris i have no comment, i hear its not too bad

The Uziel can be folded a lot faster and remove firepower from the battle field. That's some good guaranteed damage on an easy ST destruction, I get shot less, and if the madcat takes me down I don't feel as bad because at the very least I'm maintaining my ratio.

and thats why your team looses where the Uziel may do 1-400 damage and kill bugger all, the madcat you should have focused just wiped out half your team and did 1-1.5k damage PUG logic

Disagree.
Taking out the mechs supporting the less mobile heavies and assault mechs has been working very well for me so far this season.

All in all, a bad mech, but fun because it provides many possibilities to try and equalise its horrid hitboxes.

I wouldn't even go that far. The one time I faced one in Solaris 7, I managed to kill it with repeated, separate hits to the cockpit. It only takes 2 from an AC 20 to decapitate it, which is what happened (well, that and some laser raking in between AC20 shots.) If the hitboxes are so bad that a mediocre pilot like myself can repeated score headshots against it in a brawl, it has horrible hitboxes.

Nah, it just means it's become associated with "easy kill" in most people's minds. Better to get nuked and lose with a solo kill than win and get no kills is the standard potato mentality.
It also doesn't help that most Uzies I've seen in the field are trying to run some mutant version of a metabuild from a different class, largely because people have no idea what to do with it. And presumably, the ones who could figure out something for it just sold it off immediately and used the mechbay for something else.

proly the best use of it. what i found works is run RAC's and annoy the crap out of everybody, they are going to chase you might as well make it as annoying as possible

Agreed on the Wang. My Uziel is fine otherwise.

Suppose Uziel does 40 damage per 5 seconds and MCII does 60,
After first turn both mechs do 100 damage, uziel dies, MCII lives for 3 more turns, total your team receives 280 damage.
If you kill MCII first, both mechs do 100 damage per turn for 3 turns, your team receives 300 damage. Uziel dies in 4th turn, so 340 damage received.
Only an idiot doesn't kill the weaker mech first.

Dunno why ppl hate the Uziel so much.
6p is a fantastic skirmisher.
Was cleaning up Div5 with it until I was facing survival dakka cataphracts on those tiny maps.
The problem is that what everyone is seeing is the freebie giveaway Uziel, which is definitely no 6P. Not even close.
