So the following should be the new max Armor for the Jenners:

Arms: 14
Side Torsos: 38
CT: 52

I've passed this thread along, but for now the above values are the intended "Max Armor" values for this 'Mech. If the armor goes above any of those values it would be considered invalid. If the build is still becoming invalid while adhearing to the correct max armor, then keep those reports coming and we will be looking into it.

This issue is that we can apply max armor but it revers bellow the max once we select another mech.

this, happend to my oxide. After setting max armor it will be reduced again when viewing loadout afterwards. This is after i have stripped and reset all the armor values.

Does not happen when applying last few points on rear armor.

Not to be contrarian, but mine are all working as advertised. Did a bunch of jumping around to different chassis and then coming back to the Jenners and my values were all staying at max.

Though I did a fresh install after having a bit of trouble with the last patch cycle. Perhaps try the repair tool.

Which variants, specifically (Include Champion and Special designations please)?

I retract my earlier statement. Both the Oxide and D are doing it after this log in. My F (C) is not.

I was half expecting a "why did Jenners get needlessly nerfed" thread. I'm disappointed.

While it deserves a completely different thread, the magnitude of another public beta test (aka no QA) is not new or shocking.

Well, because of this bug, Jenner's now have less armor than their weight should allow.

So... Why did Jenner's get their armor needlessly nerfed?

Confirmed on Oxide.

Also it's a damned bug, stop whining it's not a nerf.

Even without the bug, this is still a nerf to the Jenner. Because, you know. 80% of its firepower is in those arms. And they now have less protection with a full survival tree than a Locust with 0 points in the survival tree. Hell, this is a nerf to all the effected mechs. If this was going to be done, it should have been done with durability quirks. Not changes to base durability. This is a bad idea PGI, and it won't solve anything. At best it'll just shift the issue facing these mechs from just "My STs get hit too much" to inlcude "My arms keep getting blown off instantly and I keep losing all my firepower".

What exactly prompted these Mechs with short and stubby arms to have their base values altered and apparently creating broken builds when other Mechs regularly have armor and structure values altered with quirks instead? Seems just adding a few points to the side torsos would have had the same effect without making arm mounted weapons more vulnerable and maintaining the integrity of the existing saved variants.

Because they wanted to redistribute armour across the 'Mechs, instead of flat out buffing the torsos. As they said in the notes, it's a bit of an experiment.

Confirmed Devs have a disconnect with the playerbase... Even Video evidence can't seem to fix that divide..

Behold the rarest IS light Ever: JR7-F Stock

So the following should be the new max Armor for the Jenners:

Arms: 14
Side Torsos: 38
CT: 52

So glad that stated ARM armor is 14 max armor. Thanks Chris. Just what the F needed because we all know how op and meta it is. Can I get some fake gold paint for my newest trophy mech? I'd buy that for a dollar!
