Oh, by the way, the Forum Thread is not properly linked to the Website News Post. I hope you can fix that sometime reasonably soon?

Consider your post '+Like'd... Even though I'm a Mech Pilot from the 'U. S. of A.' , I would gladly SUPPORT there being an expansion to the Event Roster for that. Even Canada deserves to have it's Holidays get Matching Events, and there would be room for a "God Save The Queen" Challenge here, using the metric for 'Savior Kill' more.

A futile wish: brighter versions of Solaris City but especially Terra Therma.

Eh, this new map just needs a tune-up to deal with performance issues. But at least with this enjoyable Event Challenge Set, PGI might be able to get information from their players that will lead to fixing it up more quickly.

Well, the other way would have been to blindly fire off a HotFix to make the new map perform better, with the statement that they tried to make it less laggy. Whether taking a blind shot in the dark would work or not, well... that's random chance at it's finest and worst... Not very helpful for PGI and/or the MWO Community.

Unlike the two of you, some people are coldly judging it based on only a single round of play and their inability to handle the lag for long enough to let things balance out on their computer. They didn't take the time to wander around it in the Testing Grounds or anything, and instead jumped in blindly without any capability to adapt, then decided that it's bad because they got smashed. So the new Solaris City map has had a Challenge Set attached in order to get people to take another look, which is actually a good move with the current circumstances. We can only hope now that people will actually use more of their brain and think of posting information to help PGI fix what's still an issue with the map, so the map can indeed become good like the rest. Also, let us hope that PGI has things in place to monitor the map and find the information they need to help tune it up.
By the way, I like the idea of Time-Of-Day for Solaris City... It could use that. And yeah, Terra Therma could use a minor brightener.

Eh... What do you do for Graphics? Perhaps a 'NerveGear'?

PGI, if you read your player base comments, please put the Golden Boy on sale and release the "Devish" for me. Will buy every single mech in that pack.
