Now That We Have The Blood Asp, Can We Get The Kingfisher?

If the side torso falls off? No big deal. No loss in engine heat capacity, no loss in speed, and the 'mech can poke you still with two CT-mounted ER Large Lasers or an ER PPC.

Oh, and also:

And we have three options.
Turkina: Pretty well know no explanation here.
Hellstar: Clan Awesome
Shrike: Jade Falcon answer to Wolf's Tundrawolf heavy.

There's also the Cygnus (faster clan Anni, basically) as an option. I'd vote for it (or one of the other two Battlemechs) first over the Turkina since the Clans could probably use a 95-ton Battlemech before a second 95-ton Omni.

I did originally thought of it but it uses cRAC's and HAG's so it was off the list til the next tech jump.

The -1 and the -4 are Civil War legal at least, and that's at least as many usable variants as we had when some other mechs were introduced (Supernova, Marauder IIC, Orion IIC, Nightstar). The HAG variants would need PGI replacements for sure though, yeah.
There's a cRAC variant? Sarna's missing it if it does.

This mech would require quirks on the level of the old Dragon 1N (50% cooldown) or Thunderbolt 9S (50% heat gen) to be viable and we all know PGI would not hand out those quirks again!
The Kingfisher is utter rubbish and is only promoted by personal preferences of fan boys.

Uh, Gas Guzzler is still active in this forum man, don't say like that.
It is still an omnimech, but Turkina fits the bill quite well.

But for the sake of completeness, here is my spreadsheet anyways:

And? If entire EMP would be fanboys of the Charger (3025 version) this would not make it any less rubbish.
People would only play it for sentimental reasons and shelf it after a few games because it would suck so hard.

Well, 50kph 95t omni mech is also not really a bummer but I would call it more viuable than the Kingfisher.
There are several 95t clan battlemechs though on Sarna.

Actually the Charger could turn out pretty well in MWO because of our mechlab. It would be a very mobile assault ("big heavy") that could boat a bunch of MPL's and go to town on people.

I'd like to see the Turkina get inherent jump jet quirks to differentiate it more from the Dire Wolf S. It being a better flier would help set it apart from the 100-ton 'mech Clan Jade Falcon wished they designed
