Hello.

I do own decent PC (just under 3k € w/o monitors) have proper landline (upto 300mb dload / 50mb upload) and I understand I come from quite far away ergo Finland. But today has been rather harsh day for hit-reg... Exambles:

1) you open up near point blank range 100-120meters with 3x RAC2's and ML's and you get solid 4-5 seconds of fire time... that should rip open any mediums that I have knowledge of, but no go.. just ended up getting nice damage done but target was faster and ran away...

2) 300m away and with dual c-gauss and cermls to standing target and cermls seem to hit but nothing else does... that happened twice in row.

I understand this isnt just server related but both ends me and targets ping,packet loss and few others affect the results... but dear god I havent seen it this bad since ages. Slowly reminds me of BF4's netcoding when it was the worst.

I hope this is just single event what doesnt happen too often since if the rate starts to keep up LRMs and ATM start to sound a solid choice to .. well heh =) anyways.

Haven't stopped me. Since both sides are suffering from it, it is still even in a twisted way.

Hit-reg is noticeably worse than usual, but RACs are already known for having crap hit-reg--cause of its massive amount of projectile vomit. Back when (MS) tested it, one loses 25% of damage to hit-reg loss if using two RACs together. If you use three RAC2s, then damage loss will be even more noticeable.

Do you have recordings? I would like to see your methodology and evidence.

I'll ask our unit officers about it, cause the video is old. We tested it out back when new tech hit the servers.

Sure it evens out even in solaris if the number of game sin large enough, but when you play 10 games and get totally on side shaftet because your weapons do **** and the enemy 3 shots you in 3 games, you really have to win th other 7, just to balance out your guaranteed loss that occasionally comes from hitreg.

Its super frustrateing to beat 1-2 players on your level, just ot loose to someone way below you because hitreg....
I had daysx where i played 8-2 and lost in pointrs because of that. No thanks.....

I suppose it depends on the player's personality. I have played over 500 Solaris matches and I am not complaining about hit-reg even if it happened to me, against lower level players.

Do you have it as often and consistent as i do? Might change a lot.

I notice them often enough. Which means the other side is also being affected by it. And that is why I prefer multiple lower caliber ACs over one big AC20.

Well that video i posted is not a freak accident. When 50% of your shots do not register in 3 matches in a row i am rageing.

I'd bet if MWO was a fast paced game the HSR net code would be pretty broken and frustrating. And that's not counting the PGI admitted hackyness with how JJ are handled in the code.

Try PPCs. Hitreg on PPCs has always been horribad. Lots of pass-throughs and PPC projectiles find every invisible wall in existence.

Hit reg today is as bad as I've ever seen it... 75 damage to a stationary mist lynx to take its arm?? 36 damage to an arctic cheetas' leg and its armor stayed the undamaged blue color. crit orange ST of a commando takes 36 damage and it doesn't change color at all....

Hit reg is definitely off. Just bought a highlander and every match score I've been like what no chance. It was confirmed when a trebuchet was foolish enough to land in front of me and he got hit twice if not more with an alpha of MRM40, UAC10 (double tapped), ASRM6 + 2 x MPL for an 85 point alpha most of it to its back!!!. Oh and a freindly shot him as well. He lost a right arm and was able to escape.

Yeah PGI still hasn't fixed a problem that's been around for sixish years!
