I though the same 5 years ago. I've spend around $300 on this game but over time you see MWO constantly getting worse. Faction Play matches were available instantly, Quickplay had more tactics and you could pull of some amazing matches. Since I've been around for very long I can tell the difference and the magic is gone. I noticed I try to play just out of habit and find little excitement and enjoyment so it's time to move on. What MWO is today is a pale shadow of what it was in terms of fun.
Also I work in game development and it really annoys me to see some amateurish moves pulled by PGI to cut costs and make it look like they're doing something while all they do is recycle stuff to get a minimal viable product and grab as many cash as possible.
Let me know when you get sick of getting experimented on by a developer that loves using it's backers as beta testers in a game that's a huge test bed for God knows what.
By the way, people spend thousands of dollars on Clan mechs that got nerfed to sh*t and are still getting nerfed. So imagine you just spent $500 on a shiny new mech pack and it got nerfed 30%. Would you be happy? Guess not but hey, that's PGI and MWO. Thread carefully.
PGI don't have **** under their belt and their history as a studio is mediocre... kinda weird to expect much from them. Their pricing is among the literal worst I have ever seen in my life. They price to fat whales and this screams louder then a nuclear bomb what to expect from them in any context that involves real money. Seems to me many here have laughable high expections. Though I have not been around long, game seems overall vastly better then before with SOME needed balance, more maps/mechs, skill tree and so forth.... sure some moves are dumb as **** but win some ya lose some. The greatest crime to the game is that it plays like Dreadnought when it could play more like a more tactical EFT, or arma like play.... if people would PTFO which there is little to no incentive for like the crappy Rainbow i can't count for **** teams of 5 yet called 6 siege....
MWO is extremely like Armored Warfare you should check it out. (in context that is) Great game with huge potential but made by the fantastic Obsidian Entertainment who shits on PGI and mycom times 50.... then kicked out and run by extremely incompetent mycom who don't even have shovelware under their belt (they just grab games and then murder them). ******* brought in laughably bad loot boxes and they still keep selling reskins. In a TLDR fashion it is the MWO you speak of.... but WAAAAAAAAAAY worse way way way ******* worse. At least PGI puts in a pathetic lazy effort, actually adds new stuff. Though like an essay someone really really should check the models for crimes against symmetry (and other less important things then symmetry)

As you log in, it'll pop up asking for you to agree.
Even more than that, if your Browser has been Logged In for an extended period (such as across multiple Browser Sessions), then YOU NEED TO SIGN OUT AND SIGN IN AGAIN. Failure to do so will actively prevent you from getting the New Terms Of Service & New Privacy Policy, which happen to be "GDPR-Compliant"... Further, by not going through the proper steps, the MWO Website Systems would stop you from getting the New Mech that is only gained by completing the REQUIRED Legal Steps necessary to earn it. If you haven't tried Launching MWO and Logging In there yet, I suspect it will fail to let you in until you've done a Re-Login to the Website and dealt with the Legalese that you should have collided with already.

Now that the dust seems to have settled from recent patches, did anyone else lose C-Bills due to having to redistribute armour points on their mechs? I have three Jenner and six Jenner IIC variants, and I've lost 419,058 C-Bills getting them back to the same number of armour points that they had previously. After the 15 May 2018 patch, there didn't appear to be any problems except 6,138 C-Bills for my JR7-F(C). After the 24 May 2018 patch, my JR7-F(C) was fine, but every other Jenner and Jenner IIC had lost armour ... more than 400,000 C-Bills worth of armour points.

I think I lost some (C-Bills) as well on re-adding armor, but also ended up using up some stockpiled armor that just happened to rack up over time. But, I don't think it was quite that much which I landed up paying out, because I happened to not own quite so many of those Affected Chassis. Sorry to hear you had to spend out a bit though. On the bright side, maybe you'll recover those lost funds in as little as three matches?

Well, I called PGI and explained my situation, and after they'd stopped laughing ("You bought how many Jenner IICs?"), they took pity on me and injected a Deathstrike into my account so that I can actually make some C-Bills. Joking aside, the support staff were excellent (as always) and resolved the situation fairly.

Eh... Just watch out that they didn't take an overload of any (MC) you possessed, in trade for the "Mad Cat MK II 'DeathStrike' MCII-DS", even though you had NINE Jenners in total...
