Yeah, I'm going to play it and compare to my performance with it last Season.

Any significant drop and I'll put in a partial refund request (because invested SP on some variants mean more to me than a few £££).

STs so much easier to take out now. Not thrilled about this. Favorite clan assault going back to the hanger to collect dust.

Sounds like a petition might be in order to increase some health quirks for it's shoulder... maybe? It doesn't hurt to ask, does it?

I think its sad how whining loudly for clan buffs will probably work, and meanwhile 75% of the IS roster is full of trash mechs that need serious buffs but will never get any attention.

PS: my most played mechs are Clan at this point

While in the mech bay the torso mounts look huge, that view gives the mechs a kind of fisheye look so I took my Blood Asp out to the training grounds and pressed F5 to look at it and it looks much better. Personally they're still a touch large but overall I like the change.

I also like that with a 90 FOV you can just see the mounts in the top right and top left of the cockpit. I've been doing the current event so haven't gotten into my Blood Asps to try them out in anger but so far I like the change.

Remember though that there was a change made to component damage - taking off a torso used to get the arm damage too but now it doesn't so damage numbers will likely fall compared to before the change to component damage.

Which was also present last Season, AFAIK.

Plus there's more than just AvgMS to check.

How hard is it to design a mech using original non recycled assets? Extremely disappointed with the end result of this "nerf" (if you wanna call it a nerf even though the mech isnt over performing) the length is fine its the height of the hard points that are the true problem here!

You do know that PGI can't out right copy MW4's (owned by Microsoft) designs? They can emulate it and make close approximations, but they aren't permitted to literally take it right on over.

Though... thinner might be better... (Not disagreeing with you.)

As far as the thickness of the shoulder mounts, I do have a bit of a question (which may explain why they are so thick). How many hard point mounts are there?

I say this because if they might be able to equip two or even three weapons there, the mounts need to be large enough to actually fit two or three weapon meshes into the slot.

But I will also comment... It isn't as bad as most every missile weapon mech in the game. HUGE drums or shoulder pods appear once you take a missile system in that location, often times making that location more susceptible to damage. A good example of that, Battlemaster. Place a missile in it's side torso slot, and this big shoulder box comes up, which makes that side torso far more likely to be targeted/take damage/destroyed.

Heres in my mind a much better version of the shoulder! (Pardon my terrible photo editing)

The length seems nice but they are way too tall.

Anyone ask for a refund because of the change AND did not receive a refund? (plz be polite, just say you made the purchase based on the look on release and do not like the new appearance)

Making this remark is not informative, as I have no idea which specific comments those happened to be... Posted Image

I still see it? Unless there was another one besides the one in Gen discussion.
