OK? By my guys, you mean EmpyreaL? I don't think my team/unit look for more epeen, winning two back to back World Championships have already provided all the epeen this game had to offer.

Must resist stock mode mockery.

Unless the grand strategic map has resources, moving units around and more depth, who really cares.

Ok 1 guy, i think it was 1 in a premade of other well knowns...that was sad to see this against us casuals...because we got better in the last 2 days against them.

Comp.players narcing casuals on caustic with full Lurmers, because they obviously feared to fight us directly...fantastic!

LRMs are OP now, you didn't get the memo? You can thank the balance overlord Chris for giving LRMs more velocity, and 33% more ammo for the last few patches.

Still, thats my opinion....i was very unimpressed, i thought these pro guys are awesome with tactics and aiming and teamwork and i could learn something.

But they just used the niches of meta to show good performance against casuals. And i thought they will be glad that we are trying to build up at least a little bit of a challenge for them...nope. Using the niches for the win! Unimpressive.

Dude, I thought you were trying to build support for the further development of faction play within the community?
This tanget of calling out competitive minded people merely illustrates the lopsided stomp aspect of the mode that so many in the community claim to hate about FP. If you’re trying to build support within that community for FP’s further development might I humbly suggest a different approach than this?

You are right and i am sorry. But i am just a human with emotions like everyone else.

And yes i am angry about them, because with absolutely over-ambitious behaviour they will drive all the guys away again i picked up the last weeks...and you know what? I think they do this intentionally...so yes: i am subjective on this one.

But their move isnt that smart as they think. More than that, i think they want to do their part for a self-fulfilling phrophecy.

Maybe i am wrong, maybe that was a bad move of me now. Ok, then i am sorry.

I sympathize, the pop is so low that there is no way to keep competitive players and casuals apart. I did create a thread with an idea that would allow the two to play together. Casual teams would get more players, enough to be on par with competitive teams. If this solves your problem, then I'd appreciate your supporting it.

For the love of god NO! FP is completely dead! Nobody play it. NO BODY. The last thing we need is for PGI to come in and Solaris the **** out of my last bastion of fun...er... I mean the dead game mode...

Yes and i dare to be angry about this. And i call it. Also i dont get this logic behind this. They probably had won to 95 % against us with "normal direct fire".

But the 2 "leaders" rage quitted the 1 game we won and after that they came with this. Hey, i got ***** yesterday exactly from this team for about 4-5 hours.

After every match i build my premade again because of the losses. My self sucked hard that day, but i want to learn from the best.

Im not shy or frightened to fight these guys, i am frightened that other mates wont anymore.

Dont get me wrong...all the other matches, even the slaughter ones, were fine for me. They used direct fire, they brawled the **** out of us. Im fine with that, everyone knows that.

BUT they got salty because 1 (!) loss and went full ******.

To my way of thinking the “comp types stomping the pugs” is frankly the way it is supposed to be. It is certainly the way the mode is set up to be played: No MM, may the best teams win.

I’m fine with that. I learn from that, over time I get better from that. Nobody like to lose, let alone get stomped, but that is why we drink when we play :) But seriously, even for the folks that complain about this the loudest, the reality is that the “comp types stomping” is a minority of matches. More typical is mixed groups pug on pug, or assorted small groups agains a couple of larger groups, or that sort of thing. I played CW exclusively for almost 2 years and I ran into Evil twice NKVA maybe three times (always hilarious). I don’t think I ever ran into ANY EMP players. More often it was our 8 man and fillers against a mixed group of SA, AW, MS, KCOM, SWOL, etc. Rarely ever a 12 man. Rarely a total stomp.

Maybe it is worse now, I don’t know, but that is the nature of the mode. May the best team win. If that is not something folks like, then they shouldn’t play the mode. Maybe that means the death of the mode or it continued lack of development, but that IS the mode.

I am with you. But it was totally unnecessary to slaughter us in this way, with narc&lurms. It looks like they just wanted to destroy the motivation of all of us. Maybe you know what i mean.

Yep. That really is how the mode is set up. I effin hate using lrms but kinda expect to run against them on caustic, alpine, polar, boreal .. prob some other hellhole also, especially now with buffs to velocity and ammo. Even so that some guys are advocating puting ams(!) on mechs used on those maps. Oh these sad times we are living now..

Oh yes. But just laugh about it and move on. If some team is truly driving you to want to quit, send friend requests to such enemy players as you can, and then check your friends list to see when they are in a drop before dropping again yourself. There are ways to avoid such folks if you must. If they are the only other group playing then have fun with it, adopt their tactics, challege them to duals, run goofy builds, and try crazy tactics (if convinced that your going to lose anyway, do it with panache). But don’t be driven away, because that team shall pass, and in the next match you might get -you probably will get- a team closer to your level.

Thank you! But its not the level i care, its their intention to actively destroy motivations of casuals and i dont like that behaviour. In my world champions are champions also of their honour and to be a fair enemy.

faction play cant be saved.game has hemorrhaged too many players and theyre not coming back even if faction play is fixed. both faction play and solaris need to be deleted.

and they need to add coop vs zombie dinosaur mode where your team has to defend your base from hundreds of zombie dinosaurs attacking from all sides.

that would actually save this game. since dinosaurs are big right now.

dump the solaris 7 rebranding too. that !@#$ is fail.

rename the game something like MWO: JURASSIC UNDEATH. shorten mechwarrior online to MWO too to emphasize the latter.

then people on steam might actually play this game unlike now.

mechwarrior is a dying franchise. it needs dinosaurs to save it.
