At This Point, Can We Just Have Mixtech Already?

I'm all for mixtech, while it won't fix everything automatically it'll make balancing literally every piece of tech in the game possible.

To all those saying that mixtech will obsolete stuff - you're wrong on most counts, there are several stats on IS tech for example that could be considered advantageous - like crit chances or hitpoints or max range (IS LBX). Truthfully these are weak discrepancies right now but that can change - bottom line is that nothing 'needs' to be obsoleted.

Remove quirks > Add MixTech > Balance items individually > Re-apply quirks to specific mechs based on their individual needs, like poor weapon placement or insanely big hitboxes).

Initially, some* (not all) IS tech will fall into disuse - that's temporary - because people will experiment and begin to discover the nuances of IS tech's PPFLD advantages. I could argue the virtues of (most) IS weapons tech all day but the fact is it's irrelevant, outliers will be buffed and nerfed more effectively than ever before. Nobody can argue that mixtech wouldn't stir things up, but it's effect on overall balance is positive.

Who here can actually say they like the current balance in MWO? or the way PGI tries to maintain it?

A game company that's adjusted clan energy weapon values this many times over the course of just one year kind of doesn't know what they're doing.

They couldn't get falling down right and you guys want this many weapon systems balanced.
