Can someone at PGI explain to me why you specifically point out that trial mechs can be used for this event when on the same day you announce a balance patch that would nerf into oblivion the builds on every single one of those trials?

So people play those mechs briefly before they are lost to antiquity? And they are trolls, mean mean trolls that like to watch people suffer.

Event is okay. The dish warhown used to be really my favourite, since I used it on my favourite mech Mad IIC D. Everytime I heard it go off, I loved it. Llater on used the "tango down" and "kill confirmed" radio warhowns, those really fit the mech well. But looks like I've already switched back to dish, but now I can have the dish on other mechs too, same time.

Sometimes it could be nice if we have event that requires at least 50 games with match score of 100, that we could have accelerated progress like reach 100 match score for 50 games, but if you reach 300 match score in one game, it will count as two games.

Oh lol, I just realized there was a mech as grand price as well. I just looked the event from event browser.

It's PTS, not patch.

I normally choose the biggest mech when it's pick a mech prize unless I own that variant . I am taking bushie.

Pretty much herded into a corner for my clan account . Already have that exact stormcrow from the Halloween event last year and we all have a nova . Grabbing the hunchie IIc . I think we could have used more clan options.

S2 is the worst Bushy's variant and Shadow Cat is omni. If it was X1, X2 or P1 I'd say, take Bushy, but it is S2 so I'm not sure.

Im leaning more towards the shadow cat, saw a build that Baradul did with 2 HLL, and 6 LMGs that looked like a lot of fun. I do love them MGs.

Hmm, lets see ...
Got the HBK-4P, SHD-2H, TBT-7M and UZL-3P already, so those are out.
Already have a CN9-AL, BJ-A, 3 GRF, a WVR-7K, 2 ASN and 2 BSW.

Which would leave the CDA-2A (tried one for the event, sold it again), KTO-18, ENF-4R, VND-1AA, CRB-27B and PHX-2 as choices. Any recommendations there?

I plan to sell the mech so I want the most cbills. I picked the wolverine with 55 tons with XL340 engine. The second most valuable mech I think its the Pheonix hawk with 45tons with a XL345 engine.

If you want keep a mech, I would choose the Nova if you don't already have it because it has unique hard points that standard varients don't have which are the 3AMS hard points.

UPDATE: I decided to keep the wolverine as a medium long range sniper mech because of it's great quirks. Here is what i came up with.

Multiple times I've had teammates rip out my rear side torso to gimp my performance and prevent me from getting a K/KMDD instead of them. This happens with every Kill/KMDD event. but seems particularly common this event.

Enforcer is a solid pick. Its the bests variant out of all the other enforcers. It can equip AC10, 2 tons of ammo, with 5 medium lasers, LF engine and a -20% auto cannon cool down.

Here is my build code for the enforcer.

ENF-4R is one of my favorite mediums, The last build I was using was very close to a 'upgraded stock' vibe with a LBX10 in the right arm, large laser in the left, medium laser in the left torso. 250LE, three jump jets aaanddd......i forget the rest.....heat sinks I think.

I can pretty much imagine even the worst Bushwacker variant is still the top butt kicker .

For Tournament supporters: Is it 250000 C-Bills only once for completing the whole event or for every match with the necessary matchscore?

Regardless of whether or not you've been a target of it, there happens to be a way to trap those who would do that. Run your I.S. builds with XL Engines, albeit that it leaves your Mechs less durable, and risks your battle performance being worse for a little while. If they then try to rip your Side Torso out, they'll unfortunately for them result in Team Killing you. That's immediate grounds for Reporting To PGI, as that's a total violation of the ToU/CoC... Further, it will get the person who TK'd you both pulled out of the MatchMaking rotation temporarily, as well as likely punished by PGI's Community Handlers. If whoever is Team Killing you happens to do it multiple times, that will get their 'jerk [beep]' Banned, which will remove them from harassing people directly because of their own Anti-Team Behavior. Sure, it takes time, and a willingness to put up with the frustration, as this is pretty much a 'Last Resort' option. But if we can help PGI clean up the bad parts of the Community, all the better for the good parts of the Community... right? ^_^

Interessting, never encountered such a behaviour. But this is such a poor behaviour! Posted Image

The bonus is typically once per event that you complete. TSP is the best money spent on this game plus it can't get nerfed. Please don't take that as a challenge, Devs.

Hi Matt,

Would it be too cheeky to ask for a mech bay with the pick a prize?

Just misbehaving

The mechbay is included.

Don't wanna sound too greedy, but i think for 50 matches to achieve this event, 2.5 million would be a better number as an additional reward for tournament supporters!

Can somebody clarify:

To get a Medium Hero you have to

[ ] Only complete 50 matches with min 100 matchscore

[ ] ... do all the KMDD-Challenges too

Thx
