But with proper positioning, as expected from a proper LRM pilot, you can negate the proper positioning of a properly piloted Assault Mech, which results in the original issue (even on maps like polar and alpine).

"Proper" positioning as espoused by the "pros" essentially means being tied down to specific parts of the map or get rekt when you move. If you are in the "proper2 positions then lrms are having their most lethal effect, movement denial.

If you are being tied down you are letting the enemy rule the battle. Don't run to the middle of the damn map. There is more to every battle zone then a b-line to the center. Try it sometime if you can think your way out of the box your stuck in.
