Incursion, because it's so easy to wipe a base with assassins/LBKs/MLX/whatever fast and high damage just isn't fun. I've never played with anyone (and I'm a total ***** in FW, I've played with just about everyone) who likes incursion.

Well yea, I've played with a lot of people too and nobody likes incursion. Personally I think it's better than Domination though, but that's a pretty uncommon opinion.

While I really like the idea of the event itself, I come more and more to the conlusion that it is poison for MWO.
Not only our own unit's online numbers declined, we are almost unable to find matches with in an appropriate time if at all at most times of the day. Those of us who still play think of not doing it anymore because of decreasing numbers and waiting times. It is a vicious circle.
The momentum which FW (IS vs Clans) seemed to gain in MayJune/Juli is slowed down by those events now.

okay I have disrupt, narc, and killed, and still don't have that last one to get.

ETA: not going to worry about it, just C-Bills any way

one mech I locked, disrupt, then Narced, damage and someone else killed, even got the NARC kill, still did not count

Did you try a UAV? It might help... Other than that, there's always staying close on their tail as you're forcing them away, while dealing Locked-On Damage with Streaks or something. :blink:

in quick play or faction play? Faction has had faster matches than ever, which is a lot of fun.

Yeah I haven't seen any extra C-Bill rewards the last few days from the daily faction events. Will we get a lump Sum at the end?

The events bring in a lot of pugs without FW experience, who have no chance against even partially premade teams. This leads to really bad stomps, which are no fun for neither the winners nor the losers. I can see people just giving up on FW, or, even worse, even the game.
I think this is foolish on PGI's part. It would be better to have no restriction on game type.

thought I did mention also UAV, but seems I forgot to add that, and yes . UAV was also used
there were many times such happened, that one, was everything but BAP was done to the enemy mech.
I didn't mention streaks, even though it was the weapon used on that mech, because I didn't think it matter what weapon was used to get lock damage

on another note, many strange things have been happening for the past 2weeks+ as well

I did it with my Alt, with just Lasers, Disrupt, damage, kill, but I think that one, some one hit it at the end with missile.
been mention, that someone else needed to do the lock damage, I dunno, might need a better description on how to accomplish

As a side note -

We need a potato peeler and potato masher bolt-on.

NEED those.

Like the barrel of my ballistics poke through the bottom of the potato masher and the peeler is on the back like it's sheathed over the shoulder.

Because that's the 2H melee weapon any self-respecting mechwarrior brings to QP.

Check the Lore... They used Axes, Hatchets, and Swords. They did NOT use Potato Peelers. -_-

Got to give a congrats to PGI for these events. There probably will always a couple of hiccups, but to hold 3 mini-events (with few issues...ecm locked damage, inclusion of Incursion mode in event ) virtually back-to-back is a achievement I doubted they could pull off. Well done...against my better judgment (and a track record of some bad decisions) I am hopeful of the direction they are taking FW at the moment.

I have to completely agree, when most of my unit is on we're getting slammed so we have no desire to play FP but group queue for QP is empty so the only place we all manage to play together is in Solaris.

It was okay event. I think I go back to Clan as before this wedding event streak I was making nice progress trying out narcing. Didn't bother to get narc mechs for IS.

Very fun event PGI. Next time though, please make sure Siege Day is on a weekend, its by far the most fun and I had to spend most of it at work :(

Adding additional rewards for winning as a four man group might be a decent idea for next time, if possible, to incentivize breaking up large teams that club baby seals. We'd probably just sync drop anyway, but its possible some seals would get a free ride to win with us :) It's always pretty awesome when we're dropping as like an 8 man, and we all have different unit tags so we look like pugs, and our 4 pug players are all worried about losing and strategy and whatnot, and we're just like... chill bro. There's literally zero chance we're losing this. Good times.
