My 6th sense tells me this is a trap. But...dayum! CAKE! Ohhhhh myyyy. Such tempting delicious CAKE! Umm question...just whut KIND of cake we talkin about? Vanilla, Chocolate, Cherry and Orange are good. But Carrot cake and I'm gunna bring my mech with weapons HOT and an attitude!

hmm, let me guess...another inner sphere event only, no clans invited,.....rewards might be ugly wedding cake statue? wedding bell horns? etc....
atleast put it on the test server, so the rest of us can play on the live server, that clan loyalists have been denied for the last few weeks

Ok so while everyone is touching on the LORE... I'd like to highlight something else...

2 days of INCURSION.

PLZ... PGI... Don't do that again. It is the worst mode out if the lot. It's just gonna be constant base rushes by pre-mades against anyone to try and get planet tags for the units MC. Not going to be close to enjoyable game play.

Some ideas to make this event more fun

1) get extra 5 tonnes per mech in deck that mech is a house mech (catapult/cataphract/raven for Liao etc)

2) 50% off for Yen Lo Wang

3) One off MASC upgrade for Liao Mechs, but with much lower threshold for failure

4) stock mode

Amazing. At least I can plan to do sth else rather than dealing with this crap mode during those 2 days

Edit: Why not just 2 or 3 days of Siege instead of Incursion? I bet most people would rather Siege than Incursion for sure.

Why is it Incursion twice?? Can it not be seige twice? No offense PGI, but incursion is the worst game mode for FW because it's basically a base rush and not shooting mechs. THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS GAME IS TO SHOOT MECHS.

Please make it siege for two days instead of incursion for two days. If that's too much to ask, ANY OTHER GAME MODE for two days instead of incursion. Thanks

Perhaps Paul will first edit the base structure values - can't be that hard, surely - as was suggested in the FP improvement thread. There would still be base rushes, but at least there'd be a bigger/longer fight beforehand.

Wolf's Dragoons are Steiner ?

One day of Kurita vs Steiner in the middle?, 2 davion events in a row nothing for FRR / Marik ?
I know it takes a while to give all 10+friends factions a turn, just confused that we went with Davion twice in a row instead of the ones who haven't had a turn.

I would rather have incursion(with a building health buff) than assault or skirmish. But more Siege domination or conquest would definately be preferable.
