Also, I see no reason why we Lurmers would not get something like that.. if PGI can cater to the Gauss crowd with the Fafnir, why not cater to the LRM croud with the Longbow?

LRM use is at an all-time high right now, and I would just love to hear the wails of woe from all those LRM assault haters when I kill them with LRMs from behind a rock, but this time, in a new shiny Longbow..

Also, just as a note, it's not useful if it can't field LRM70+2ermed and at least 10 tons of ammo, at 1,2 heat management.

If it can't do that, it's not better than existing mechs.

That's why my favorite LRM boats have the jack-o-lanter warhorn.. so I literally laugh at the enemy

I actually demolished people yesterday, with the most unlikely build I could imagine - 4xLRM5+2ERML Blackjack...

It had 2000+ ammo and could literally rain for days.. first match with it, I did 946 damage.. second match 800+ damage.. in a friggin blackjack.. with LRM5s..

I would only buy it if the NAIS variant or one like it were part of the pack. X6 ballistics, ecm & some lasers.
