Impotent rage. Because there will be literally nothing any of us can do about it.
So PGI can just shrug it off.
Incidentally, I am certain PGI are going to expect us to buy all our Mechs over again for MW5:Online.
Yup.
And if MW5 and the presumed next iteration of this game MW5:Online is a super, amazing, wow PGI really, finally, hit it out of the park and gave us the MW experience we always wanted kind of game, then I will gladly throw money at them and not only buy the the former, but I will also buy new mechs for the latter.
But c’mon, what are the chances of that happening?
I suspect that if MW5:online, or MWO2 or whatever they call their next venture into this arena ever becomes a reality they will end up doing some sort of introductory incentive for former account holders of MWO, wherein X amount of in game currency, etc. is provided as a bonus of sorts if you sign up for an account in their new game, in order mitigate that sense of loss, redundancy or whatever. But you are totally correct that there is no way they are going to port over accounts or content from the old game to the new game even if that content has an apples to apples equivelant in the new game.
