Today you can have some dude in a stock AS7-D in the back firing LRMs on a target 1500 meters out and there's nothing you can say or do. People get on your *** for being toxic when you are trying to explain to the guy he needs to complete the Cadet Academy. Today, you can have an entire firing line melt because they do a 180 to run away exposing their backs to the enemy. Just to happen next match because anyone explaining how the match was thrown gets lit up in coms.
This could just me being in T4, I haven't played in like 3 years, but i am not willing to grind to T1 without a solution to unperceptive or Dunning-Kruger level players. Is there a tip or trick to handle these players? Or just never play quick drops and stick with my unit?

Or you could stick to FP/GQ, though those modes have basically no matchmaking.

You could go the route of just playing with your unit or playing group queue. Albeit that has the caveat of taking a lot longer since for group queue ya need to find a good group then get that all settled then usually ended up queueing for even longer then QP, FP I basically same thing only even longer. Plus both have no Matchmaker so it can still be quite the grab bag of ****.
My suggestion.
Turn off the comms. Ya obviously don't need to listen to those yahoo's anyhow.
Go into settings and get everything just the way you prefer/like, FOV, gamma, sensitivities, etc, etc, etc. There's many more things that can be fiddled with and adjusted then there was 3 years ago. Training grounds a great place to fiddle til just how ya like it.
Buy and build yaself a nice tier 1 mech of your preferred style. Light? Assault? Lasers? Ballistics? There's plenty to choose if ya know what ya good at and what your doing. You could state ya preference here and ask around? Plenty folks on the forums that know all the "meta" like back there hands. (also plenty that just think they do, so gotta use some common sense too I guess.)
Go farm some potatoes. Long as ya got ya self a nice mech/build ya good in ya still be able to have some fun. Just gotta remember the "proper" mentality for Grinding up QP. It's you versus 12 enemies with 11 distraction/meat shields on your side. With a good mech, decent aim, some stubborn determination, and decent situational awareness and knowledge of game....... Shouldn't take ya too long to least get up to tier 2.
Past that..... IDK?!? I wish you best of luck on your journey, and may your potatoes harvest be bountiful!

You're tier 4 so you're playing with fresh newbies that might still be learning basic stuff.

You are now on PGI's official TK watchlist.

FP and GP and Comp are available but aren't the "mainstay" of the game. If they were, PGI would have fixed them and that surely isn't the case because they chose to disinvest themselves from FP and created Solaris. A FPS.
So, you are dealing with cooperative teams; not dedicated teams and if I am in one of those matches, I can chose to do what ever the heck I want to do to make it fun or have value for "moi".....me, I and not you.
Being a Tier 1 or a Tier 4 doesn't change the game's basic design....
OP, if you want "teams" join a team and play nothing but what's left of FP, GQ or Comp...... Have at it and good hunting !!

I do notice that the people who tend to get the most upset at the team in a match often never offer any advice of any use, only insults, and they also often have fairly mediocre scores that show they did just at badly as anyone else. Firstly, insults, or telling people to "get good" however you might phrase it, don't make other players get magically better. The best idea is to give actual tactical advice - eg "don't walk along the gully in Frozen City, lets go through G8" or "Lets wait at F5 for our assault mechs and try and group up". Secondly, Say it early, when the advice is actually useful, and then lead by example. Not every one will follow, but if you are actually giving good advice, you'll find way more matches going your way generally. Excoriating people after the fact does no one any good, and is more likely to simply drive newer players away instead.

But one caveat there, doing whatever you want for you also has the effect of affecting other people's fun too. Their fun is 100% as important as yours, no matter what you may feel or think.
It is a team based game even in "solo" Q.

and another guy in my team over more as 6 Matches brings in one game 500 dmg with 2 Mechs and good performance and in the next 2 Matches under 200 dmg with 4 mechs or only sub 500 dmg ..and im thinking ...why this great difference ?

[Redacted]
How many im seeing in her First Mech in FW...with all the Newbie errors -firing IS LRMs under 180m ...Shadowhawk only with a LLaser and a LRM 10 ....run as Defender to the enemy against all orders and will make a Light rush ...most have nothing experience with the game and will playing FW and crushed with her Team ...No Tutorial her who News can learn to play with bots in a Team in missions and thats Objectives the important Factor in FW

Having all the new people grouped into lower tiers just encourages bad gameplay.

Don't worry, there's plenty of bad gameplay at all tiers.

the problem is some time what they doing r " sitting and w8 for been flanked " , "split out w8 for been ***** one by one" or "following some light brainlessly to trap and get slaughtered"
which can be avoid simply as long as they do read the mini map and think a little bit

I think the conversation sorta devolved from my point. How do we handle apathetic players. Ones that ignore you explaing that their IS med lasers dont work 550 meters out, or you tell them to not chase the squirrel.
There could be a very simple system where the report function had an additional "Unskilled" slot where it only negatively impacts your Pilot Teir rating when 8+ players report you in a match. There could even be a special place called T6 where only trolls go and the only way to enter T6 is to be reported out of T5.

Either way, while you work on that, you could also work on solving that problem with world peace.

Easy, same as the way as MWO players have been handling apathetic devs for years:
Yell at them about what you want and when you finally realize they don’t care...go play something else.

Actually, that's the popular theory..... Unfortunately, it's 100% voluntary. I've seen Jimmy Jack take his father's mech and paint himself blue in the mech lab, swap out every logical weapon and drop screaming Banzai as the mech screams across the QP maps ending in a glorious and spectacular death !! Match after match after match.... I've seen very skilled pilots from this forum "just yolo it" because they could and it seemed "fun"....
Yes, it is un-fair to the 11 others......but, not against any rule or expectation. After all, you are measured by "your scores" not the other 11's scores.....???
