Reposting an interesting question: does any of these limited edition mechs have quirks?

I Ultimate Pack'd the Hatamoto-Chi, so that's one collector down. If I upgraded my standard Thanatos pack to collector level during this sale, shouldn't that get me the IS top tier reward?

If I have a collector pack from each side, what is my lowest cost option for making ultimate reward tier?
Can I combine hero mechs with collector packs to get the higher reward?
Edit; I have the Flea collector and reinforcement, the PIR collector and hero to clarify.

Cheapest route would be to use the current sale and buy one more light mech collector pack of each faction. If you get two light mech collector packs (for example the Javelin to add to your Flea and the Cougar to add to your Piranha) it would cost 2x$21 but if you're not a dedicated light mech pilot the extra $7 spent per pack on a heavier collector mech pack might give you better value for your money.
Medium, heavy, and assault mechs are generally easier to do well in than light mechs for the average player so would provide better value, even if it means spending $56 (two $28 packs) instead of $42 (two $21 packs). If a light mech interests you then great, but if you're interested in one mech but decide to get a light mech because it's $7 cheaper you may regret your purchase if you can't get the mech to work well for you.

I’d like to see 1 Collector‘s + 3 Add-Ons as a further way to get to the top tier.
Does it work?
Because the text only speaks of 2 Collector’s OR 6 Add-Ons.

This is what I want... Why is this not a thing? 19hrs to go, make it happen!

Tooling up my new Whammie-toy, I noticed the gaping holes where the torso hardpoints on the other variants would be. It's somewhat irritating. Anyone else feeling like me? Can we get some dummy-plugs in there, maybe? Please?
