That's the life of a loyalist, i guess. If there's no quarrel in your hood, you're gonna sit on your hands, while the mercs get all the fun.
What PGI should do is multiple simultaneous conflicts in different parts of the IS/CW. Sure, this splits the available players a bit, but on the other hand, now many loyalists won't play FP at all during the event.

This is still an IS v Clan event at the core... What PGI should do is allow all IS and Clan factions to participate in this event. Just restrict the Kurita / Jaguar rewards to their loyalists the way it was done before.

Most blessed, PGI has heard my request of dumping away modes that have secondary win conditions. Now it is just a straight out slaughterfest AHAHHAHA

I disagree. What will happen is exactly what happened in the last events, everyone will pile into FP so anyone who sticks by their faction as a loyalist can't get groups matches because everyone is in FP.

This is great sounding event. Unfortunately for me, I'm abroad enjoing the sun and the sea and no pc. Never the less I am not complaneing, as I know many will have a lot of fun playing and getting nice rewards while having fun. Event looks like a win- win situasion, and ppl are still complaneing !?!?

You want the top prize and not to invest heavily? Life does not work that way.

Not to be rude about it or anything, but game rewards should always be on a balance, if it is as people have said, needing people to spend 3-5 hours a day to go through? That is effectively my off time between work and sleeping taken up (i get home at 6pm, work at this for 4-5 hours, sleep, work, repeat). I have only been in this community for a couple months, first time im replying to anything on the forum too, however theres an actual issue in this which I have seen other games go down and effectively scuttle good will from their community for it.

Firstly, having people spend literally 10 times as much for an ingame item vs buying it on a minimum wage job is out of balance and that is going off the more expencive mechs, some of the cheaper champion mechs could be bought in 2 hours of min wage work vs playing the game for what, 50 hours to get if i am understanding it right? And even then you could just then buy a hero mech instead and not be locked to only heavy mechs, not to mention the MC discount thrown with it. This will not make the community happy, I have seen it ruin good will for others.

Secondly, the gradual change in effort vs reward which I have seen is pretty distrubing to me, when I first started I really liked how there was events (QP was the first event i saw) that give people extra boosts and stuff to help them on their way to enjoying the game, that made me as a player feel like the devs recognise me as a customer and thus are doing their best to keep me around. However this has seemed to have changed over time, first it was a bit too easy i grant you, then the faction play events came along which I enjoyed heavily btw and got me into faction play, they were fun and rewarding, I liked the MC rewards which I have been saving up to buy another hero mech with, then this reward level took a bit of a drop in the next faction play event, okay, fair enough the first event i did was a bit high in the rewards (though the drop stopped my friends playing faction play) and now we have to put in a significant amount of time to just get a champion mech?

Dont get me wrong, I have truely enjoyed the game since coming to it, but this sudden and drastic changing in the rewards for events system has truely got me a little concerned and really has put me off attempting this event mostly, I dont mind having a tough event in QP where its easier to get games which are not 1 sided (lets be real, the FP has effectively been stompageddon in the last few events) and where I can just play with my friends but the FP events should be a little easier to do in order to attract people, not deter them.

And yet somehow we'll end up with both sides meeting or failing to meet their conditions, since they are not mutually exclusive...

I admit the faction objective is weird, but nevertheless I think most people wouldn't give half a damn about it.

You don't have to be K or SB to get the loot bags and qualify for the champion mech - the winner (either K or GB) will get a pattern unlock.

also, no one is forcing anyone to get a free mech, I've had lots of loot bag events where I didn't get the final award, still walk away with lots fo free stuff. Its a FREE MECH, don't get it so what?

the 'new rope' adage and all that.....

This game is a time eater

The grind rewards are perfectly reasonable . An person with no life and oodles of time can do this two or three times over .

Most people do work and dont have that amount of time to finish something like this but they do have money to buy what they want .
You really want to envy that person who won the "You have no life" mech reward ? While he is forced to take a heavy mech and all the random loot , You can buy anything you want .

Not everyone who works has oodles of money! While it wouldn't hurt the dev's to add a few more days. That way they could fill those empty event days between events.

I will play a little cause I have a lot of work to take care of. I don't mind a bit of freebees and I won't be disappointed if I don't get a free mech, have over 120 already so meh... I could use some MC, hopefully there will be some in lootbags

That's the way I'm reading it too, but PGI has recently focused on conflicts where only specific two factions could participate.
