Good rewards are not supposed to be easy to get, a free mech for completing means you need to spend time playing the game, PGI need people playing, the rewards are for playing more, you dont have the time, then buy the mech instead,

Agreed, but this recent insistence on trying to force people into faction play without fixing the mode in the first place is bad for the game. With the increase in QP wait times this month due to all the faction events my playtime has dropped by half and I know I'm not the only one. And I have to wonder how many newer players are getting turned off by FP in the process.

Possibly longer if you add in search time. As much as I enjoy this game, I don't have that many hours per day to spare on this. I really hope scouting is the way to go.

If the Scouting matches don't work for the event, then it will be a garbage event for me (and as it seems for a lot of other people too). For me 4-5 FP Invasions in a row are max I can play for fun. This is also if I don't play anything else, ie QP. 7 Skirmish games per day while wanting to fool around with Vulcan builds = way too much. Forcing FP into people this way will only teach people "I'll never touch this game mode again" thing. This being the same game mode only aggravates the issue. "Win-switching" will also lengthens wait times, so morre time wasted, less fun allowed. PGI should really think of something fresh, fun and less repetitive.

While I like faction matches I have to agree here. 75 full faction drops in six days encourages unhealthy play. It's effectively 30 minutes per even if stomps because of all the setup time. So that's more than 5 hours in game every day - IF you can play all days. Miss a day and it gets extra LOL. Get on the receiving end of stomps such that you don't qualify a match at 100 score, it gets extra LOL

This isn't a "challenge," it's just bad numbers. This should be *significantly* extended.

I think it boils down to Skirmish being the wrong choice of mode. I don't mind the occasional meatgrinder, but requiring 25 hours of non stop mech slugging gets pretty old.

And I do appreciate the logic behind having the top tear reward taking investment to achieve, and I may have to hold my hands up and say "I won't get all 150 bags", but you will understand me when I say that it will leave an unpleasant itch doing so.

Agreed, makes you wonder if the person putting these events together even plays the game.

you'll be earning 2 lootbags per skirmish for the first 50 lootbags, then only 1 lootbag per the next 25 matches
so 50 total matches for 5 days.... comes out to about 5hours playing per day at 30 minutes per match ??? correct?

assuming you make 150 match score per match.... which unless your a jerrys kid isnt very hard

an event, Kool, i will play.

Take appropriate mechs to appropriate maps, fun for all, if you drop against a unit a few times in a row and don't like it, take a ten minute break and get out of sync with them.

50 invasion matches that go for 25 minutes (because skirmish doesn't have objectives) = almost 21 hours of play in 7 days (4-5 of those days being work days for people). Extend the FP component for another week, and start the QP event when you meant to, but also extend that for another week?

For me, Scouting is a necessity ( and my preference): Invasiosn are simply unplayable for me on my poor old potato "OOOh nice slideshow"

BUT CAN IT RUN CRYENGINE

Yes time needs to be significantly extended. As like 10 days per each event or so.
