The OP's stance seems to assume the enemy is lead by a Rommel or a Patton.

At least in the random queue, the team who does something -- almost anything -- coherent tends to win.

I tend to follow whatever plan someone has the bravery to put forward, unless it's exceptionally bad,

Once a couple year backs, we had a kid on Random queue voip, about twelve years old, who was really bossing everyone around. All the old farts in the team, god bless them, followed the kid's instructions and we won.
