Well with the stats it has right now.. I'm still trying to understand what its supposed to be superior to.

Are you saying it *doesn't* have "Superior Firepower" compared to, say, the original Warhammer? How about compared to any other 80 ton 'mech?

GAR? I can get 85 firepower with an optimum range of 90m or 82 with an optimum of 150m
WHM-IIC comes in at 81.5 firepower with an optimum range of 400m
Seems like a no brainer.

MAD-IIC? Not an 80 tonner. Laser vomit tops out at 70 firepower w/o GH (unless you want to add a 90m or 150m Micro)
WHM-IIC hits 64.5 firepower with laser vomit.

ON1-IIC? Best brawler is still ON1-IIC-A with LB20X + 4 SRM6, right? That's 68 firepower. Max speed of 77.8kph w/o Speed Tweak (mine goes 75.6kph)
WHM-IIC-A can swap an SRM6 for an LB20X for 76 firepower, at the cost of 7kph.

I also forgot to mention the max range for any of the weapons on the GAR is 450m vs 810m on the WHM-IIC...

With the proliferation of cover, damage can be mitigated to the point of minimal for the GAR to close. Let alone a Cyclops or a Victor (for example) in FW maps. The WHMIIc will have issues trying to twist off damage due to it's slow torso rotation, and short burn time of IS lasers. Add to the the flat profile the CT will be a easy hit up untill just before the left or right stop. ( I'm guessing to the 50° point).

In order to get a faster twist the pilot will need to also rotate the legs. But expecting some of these pilots to be able to do that isnt that high.

At least you agree it does have "Superior Firepower" though, so that's a start.

In theory you can do some great things with the Warhammer IIC more than likely, but drop into a game with it. And now try to use the arm mounted energy points for I dunno, anything. They're easily as wide as the NIghtstar's, with the similar "I keep shooting walls" issue. The MAD IIC has its hardpoints in a far more compact grouping in comparison and that's kind of a big deal.

IMO, the IIC is way too small for an 80 ton assault mech!
It's a dwarf compared to my Gargoyle or other 80 ton mechs
Even the old IS Warhammer, which weighs 10 tons less, is taller, wider and bulkier.

Just compare the different mechs in the lab.
The IIC looks really good, but IMO, he is simply too small and should be rescaled.
Am I the only one who noticed that? Whats your opinion?
