Glad to see the mech, however after reading over it I am disappointed there isn't a non-hero variant with ballistics or one with 1 Missile and 2 energy in each side torso.

Someone please tell me that the release of this 'mech is another unseen. I have been dying for an answer to the question of whether or not the settlement reached by PGI and Harmony Gold allows PGI to release new unseens or if it meant we got to keep the ones we have so long as PGI didn't make more.

It was an unseen, now a NUseen with a visual inspiration from the reseen dark age variant.

can they make a Crusader? Because that would be a Wallet opening orgy over here.

Also of note, is that the mech releases on February. Still leaving a mech release for January. Unless the Charger and Hatamoto are staggered releases by a month. That or maybe a new PGI mech which will be announced for Mechcon.

Also, all the Warhammer IIC variants with ballistics have HAGs equipped, putting them out of contention for standard/reinforcement pack . That said, the Phoenix Hawk IIC on the other hand has 4 ballistic mounts split between the torso and a variety of variants that focus on energy weapons or missile weapons. Might be why PGI isn't going ham with custom variants of the Warhammer IIC to cover a better spread of loadouts.

Edit: Or January is when the hard working folks at PGI head for the sandy beaches for a needed vacation time.

More likely is that their off most of December which would be the time their working on the model, and in January the are just getting over their vacation and taking time to spin back up.

I was looking at the Vapor Eagle, trying to decide if I wanted to get it in order to qualify for the Night Gyr, or wait to see what this month's 'mech was gonna be. I picked it up, figuring I'd be happy with it over anything that wasn't the Warhammer IIC... and now that I've actually seen it and looked at the loadouts, I'm starting to think I'll still be happy with the Veagle anyway.

I am always pleased to see a new 'mech in an underrepresented tonnage, though.

How so? Because it can fit the loadout of an MCII-1? That's hardly making anybody quake in their boots, especially since it will lose 5 points off of that alpha in the upcoming patch.

Combined also with Marriage IIC and Divorce IIC.

The only IIC mechs that really tickle my nostalgia are Hunchie and Marauder .
