Ok so.....people were upset that the base heat after engine HS was still 50....so you did another change that again...still left it at 50. Why?

Not deluding, way it's actually been in QP when i've played. and it's been that way for a couple YEARS now.

People tend to apparently forget stuff that happens in their tier doesn't happen in ALL tiers.

We told you at the end of season one and into the start of season 2 in multiple ways in multiple threads we were pissed off at only getting 14 days notification in a 90 day season of changes to the origionally stated rewards for solaris, and that was a major reason why a lot of us were pissed off and not bothering with season 2. So with 5 days left in the seasons, theres no way you could **** THINGS UP AS BADLY AS LAST SEASON, so I get to the rank I want for the rewards I want. So what do you do ? YOU **** THINGS UP WORSE THAN LAST SEASON, PISS US OFF MORE THAN LAST SEASON, AND WONDER WHY WE HATE THAT YOU OWN THIS IP ? ITS BECAUSE YOU TRY TO [Redacted] BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO ******* IDEA. You guys call this "bringing Clan weapons in line to their IS counterparts?" Seriously? Then where are the laser duration and cooldown changes? The IS advantage in those areas along with their higher ghost heat thresholds on top of their numerous defensive and universal quirks are only being partially addressed in a patchwork fashion at best. Also, about our ERL's being too "spammy," your ghost heat threshold for them prevents that.

You guys are "balancing" this game into oblivion, FYI.

P.S. WTF is up with these heat sink numbers? [Redacted]

Yeah guys, this is a MAJOR bug that is causing a lot of people to have to re-log or reboot their PC. This needed to be hotfixed immediately and still we don't have it in the patch A MONTH LATER. An explanation is in order. Support Team... please step in here and help us!

Yes more buffs (direct or indirect) to LRM's. Might have to switch back to Clan just to avoid the rain that will come in 99% of matches now as IS. Hell, this might even give rise to a new IS-LRM meta. Completely bad for the game.

Hi there, Tier 1. The tier with the lrmageddon and possibly millions of the aforementioned 4 erll hellbies. Oh. No. wait. dual HLL and er meds is the current hellbie meta. Next you might tell me that ECM actually makes players physically invisible like many players seem to believe.

The only place I will consistently make note of 4 ERLL hellbies is in faction, because range game is significantly important on the large snow maps. I'm more likely to see an erppc, SSRM2, lbx2, atm12, 2 spl hellbie in quick play.

remember that brief time period where PTS 2.1 looked like they had things on the right track and it was the first time in maybe ever that large scale changes were pretty much uniformly welcomed??

Don't think I have heard one player complain about ECM in YEARS so I don't get the weapons will lock as long as your not hiding behind a rock change. This is just just another buff for Lurms and ATMs and a knee cape to the few mechs that rely on ECM like the Shadow Cat.

ER Large Laser heat bump is also a head scratcher. Only see ER builds on FP, can't really afford to boat them anywhere else so all it does is kill some drop decks, especially my IS drop deck.

Oh, but people DO complain about ecm. those that exclusively use lock on weaponry or are too blind to see the dorito. Same issue with stealth, soooo....

I'm am not quite sure how the lower heat threshold is going to work since PGI didn't put a hard cap on it like in PTS. Is there any rough estimates on what the average heatcap would end up being?

ECM tonnage has very little to do with the balance. ECM mechs in general give up extra hardpoints, jj and or quirks because of the ecm.

So you finally got around to nerfing the alpha damage on clan vomit by a tiny bit while massively increasing dps with heat dissipation changes... then you nerf a bunch of the IS's strongest mechs HP quirks by like 40%?

Laughable. I realize we are legalizing cannabis in Canada soon, but if you guys could ease off a bit, that would be great.

Im still neutral in all this. Will see how it plays out. Not super happy about the Bushwacker nerfs but will have to wait and see. Will probably be roasting you by Friday.

Not so happy about the Bushwacker nerf. A small increase in agility would have been fair after this armour quirk reduction; the Bushwacker is a rather sluggish Mech, and at least some of the extra armour was needed for that reason.
