When you play a Centurion right.

As a Centurion, or YLW hero pilot, you lurk and strike at medium ranges. Your opponent is too shocked to at the rate of CT damage to think "shoot arm off" because they will be dead before then so they aim for the Yen Lo Wang's CT. Now that you can put a sparkley snub-nose PPC in it, they know they have to go for the kill-shot.

Anyway, the YLW is a rare 'good' medium and has a unique piloting and and handling style. A good break from slow armored assaults.

I have, even when jumped. Right arm or Right side torso and the mech is pretty much neutered.

I can say the Dragon Flame with an RotaryAC5 and 4 ER-Meds works realy fine for me for C-Bill farms. Good Dps ... best Torso Pitch.

Jester works pretty good for er lls and er/mls. Double ams for events is nice.

Esprit de Corps or Virago. By utilizing the pod system along with lower tonnage than the larger choices, you can greatly vary your play style and queue fairly quickly.

Besides, both Mechs are fun!

Aside from double heavy ballistic high-mount for the EBJ, the Virago is basically just every other HBR in terms of meta, no need to waste MC unless you want that missile right arm.

I just bought the Cobra Cat (Nova Cat hero) - was not disappointed.

Has the loadout of a Supernova, in a lighter, 75 ton package.. (LRM70+4ERSL+ClanProbe+Computer1+10t LRM ammo).

The thing is a beast, despite the low LRM mounts..

The two Assault heroes I'd consider are:

• CP-S Sleipnir: Excellent mobility, good hitboxes and two great builds with quad LB10 (great damage farmer) and 2HGR (great sweeper, especially late in the match). Downside's the lack of durability quirk and low speed, making it hard to use if Nascar is happening
  
• DWF-UV Ultra Violet: Insane DPS with 8x UAC2s or LBs. Bad mobility, speed and hitboxes, but wins just about every staring contest, maybe Annihilators aside.

Personally, I'd probably pick the CP-S. It's arguably one of the best Assault Heroes, alongside the Deathstrike and Scorch.

As for the Heavies:

• QKD-IV IV-4: Farms damage like a boss. Insane agility, insane levels of armour, great cooling, high DPS with MRMs. Awesome damage farmer, but feels pigeonholed into MRM builds.
  
• EBJ-ES Esprit de Corps & HBR-VI Virago: Well, you basically get to play their respective meta builds with a 30% C-Bill bonus (and the Virago gets some range, I think?). Not much to say otherwise. Probably among the strongest Heavy Heroes you can get.
  
• LBK-RL Redline: Additional torso E-hardpoint makes it slightly better than the C-Bill energy variants, but whether an energy LBK is up your ally is for you to decide.

I'd go with the IV-4, just because it's actually different. The EBJ and HBR are probably better when everything is said and done, but you can replicate the builds on C-Bill variants. However, if it is maximum performance with a C-Bill boost you're after, I'd pick the Virago.

The Virago is good at one thing, and one thing only (over other Hellbringers): Set of 8 quirks gives you +10% range and +10% heat gen, along with 4 high laser mounts, so the Virago 4xCERLL build is superior to all other Hellbringers. If you don't play FW, there's no point in getting a Virago over a standard Hellbringer unless you're really into getting that 30% cbill earning and love Hellbringers

its not really that great of a hero but i just bought a rainbow death fridge because i needed a 45 ton clan hero and didn't want another scat. running it with 2 srm6es, 4 hsls and ecm.

I never took it to Solaris, but it QP it is awesome... I mean great, not the awsome awsome, which is nice in other ways (but the hero is not very good).
AC10, 5 ML, 2ERSL, 3JJs, LFE350 and enough armor quirks to give you the armor of a 90 tonner, and go kick ***. My best game with it was 1321 damage and reversing 6-8 against into 12-10 victory.
Just be aware that you are as tall as an annihilator.
