The transition to cloud and game-as-$ervice is a real pita for those of us who use to buy games on physical media, got use to baking copies for back up or 'in-case' lost,trading games with real friends and so on.
i expect the haxxors in the community would get to work reverse engineering the client and coming up with a replacement for the server side. remember freelancer?
