Will this be retroactively applied to people who qualified for early adopters before the original deadline?

It pretty obviously would.

Seems a good solution, thanks.

If you add a new variant with ballistics in the arms, it will likely become my new favorite mech in the game. I'll definitely finish out the ultimate pack.

All i've wanted since the original Warhammer came out was a variant with ballistics in the arms.+

If the additional variant had ballistics in the torso wouldn't that suddenly make the people who ordered the hero mad? Stick with the arms.

I'm good with that. I pre-ordered back in November and I never planned on cancelling the pre-order. Extra stuff is always good. Posted Image

Though honestly I'd prefer 10 turkey warhorns.

If you can get a variant with 4 or more ballistics on it I would be more than ecstatic and that goes for my entire unit

Their likely saving that for the Phoenix Hawk IIC, as first version has 2 UAC 10s and 2 Machine guns.

As for the Warhammer IIC they could do the Warhammer IIC-5 but replace the HAG 20 with UAC 10 the only difference is crit size as tonnage is the same. (HAG 20 are arm mounted in this version)

However I kind of would like a Warhammer IIC base on the Warhammer -7S, instead of having 3 Missile Hardpoints it only has 2 and in its place has 1 energy in the head. The other is a direct upgrade of the Warhammer - 6R being 80 tons instead of 70.

It has been announced now: https://mwomercs.com...pters-extended/

TL;DR:

LA: 1B
LT: 1E, 2M
CT: 1E, 1A
RT: 1E, 1M
RA: 1B

So basically it's not a direct copy of the WHM-IIC 5 like people were speculating. I'm gonna miss that fourth energy hardpoint but this variant does still add much-needed ballistics to the chassis in a non-hero package.

It may actually work out better this way. With 1B per arm and 3M in the torsos, you're able to run a Scorch build minus one SRM6, but with better missile convergence. And still potentially fit in some laser backups. And being more well distributed, it can't be stripped of guns anywhere near as fast as a Scorch.

I very much like this!

With the arm height of a Warhammer, it wasn't gonna be doing peek and poke with Gauss rifles very well, anyways. A hardpoint spread that makes it solid for brawling, however? Very much yes!

If you're a brawler bro I can understand why you'd like it, but I'm a midrange poker bro. Clans don't have MRMs so there's not much I can do with those missile hardpoints. I don't like SRMs because they're basically a melee weapon with how wide they spread, Streaks are self-explanatory, ATMs are easily defeated by any kind of tiny hill and have a big min range. That leaves Lurms, which are okay I guess.

My original plan was to run something like 2 CAC/10 + 2 LPL/HLL + 2 ERML, but now I'll probably have to make some combination of Lurms and AC/10s with ERML or MPL backup, or I guess I might go with my original build but with only 1 ERML (skip the missiles).

You can still pack 2 UAC10, 2LPL/HLL and 1 ERMLas. Not a tremendous damage loss, there, so your plan really isn't out of the picture. The hero in the pack can still do 2x HLL/LPL 2x HML/ERML, 2x UAC10 if you wanted, as well.

But, yeah. Wish ATM were as fun and effective as MRM. Or if we got HAG that were functionally very similar to how MRM function when fired.

I wish those HAGs were compatible with missile hardpoints. Posted Image

As for the build I'm dorking around in MechDB using the Maul (hardpoints are almost the same) and it's working out alright to just remove one ERML and add an AMS with the spare weight. I guess I overestimated how much spare tonnage the mech would have with an XL350 engine, I was expecting to have DHS up the wazoo rather than just 16 of them (thus I thought that having only 1 ERML would be undergunning it).

But still, I want Clan MRMs nao.

With both an upper and lower arm actuator I don't think you can fit an LBX20, can you?

Well, after looking at Scorch in Smurphy's, it looks like you can. This might be fun!

Clan LB 20-X is only 9 slots, so yes you actually can.
