IS MPL isn't viable? Son I am disappoint.

Also the HML and HSL are niche and tend to be ignored by most people. And CLPL? Like nobody uses that thing since we got the HLL.

Also Cspl is such a rare sight I see more HSL than that weapon, also Micro lasers is niche too onlu use by PIR.

In all seriousness though - The IS ERPPC, while certainly more limited than the clan PPC for general use, (IMO) it still has its uses for people that value the velocity boost it has over the clan one, usually for the purposes of long range precision. For an extreme ranged harasser, (Like, say an Uziel or shadow cat that's playing the entire game at 1,000 yards) It's actually a decent weapon. I have at least a couple of mechs I' probably use it over standard-ranged PPCs, cPPCs, or even ERLLsfor that matter.

Dude, stop sugar coating it. The weapon is embarassingly under-powered. It either needs a huge heat reduction or a damage buff. Throw lore out the window.

I wonder, just how OP (if at all) would it be if;
IS-ERPPC was 10 heat
Clan-ERPPC was 12.5 heat
PPC was 7.5 heat

Would the PPC volleys blot out the sun?

that's sweet. you seems to "forgot" widely used LL, ERML and ERSL, but included a bunch of niche one-mech weapons like micropulse and CSPL and HML.

I haven't said anything other then listing the available ppc option for both sides. Please don't quote me wrong, i have not crossed out those IS ppcs. I also don't compute what you're trying to converse. Maybe because i think that medium, medium pulse, large pulse, large as well as small and small pulse are very very useful. i even like er smalls.

Anyhow, i was on about this.

IS has 15 energy weapons, 10 lasers and 5 ppcs.
Clan has 13 energy weapons, 12 lasers and 1 ppc.

So, clan has obviously 20% more laser options.
IS has 400% more ppc options.

That was what i was trying to converse. Sorry if it did not reach you.
