Was there a misinterpretation of the name Charger for the coat of arms? I don't think they were thinking of cellphone chargers when naming it
With the base model's lack of firepower, that's about all it was good for in Star League days. That huge nuclear engine could charge a hell of a lot phones

Eh...I skipped on buying these. They look like they have garbage hardpoints. Or hardpoints that mechs of similar size don't already have. And since I'm sure they won't have decent quirks then other 80-85 ton mechs can do anything they can do equally as well or even better.

Trouble is that at this point you can literally say that about any new mech that comes out purely by virtue of how many chassis are already in the game. I wouldn't be too surprised if most people who bought the Charger just did it for the [Redacted] giggles

I would love it if they kept stuff like this up - releasing (2) similar chassis (with less variants) at a time.
What other mechs are out there that should have similar sizes/weight classes - that could run off the same animation rigs - and would have similar/interchangeable parts to minimize 3d modeling/animation time?
Like - in this case - Charget and H-C have the same base legs (with added armor/knee bits), and same base arms - do we have any other mechs in the BT universe that might be similar?
I asked Russ three times on Twitter and PGI in general twice with threads on the forums about new map development. I heard nothing, so skipped these two and all subsequent Mech packs. MechCon seems to have confirmed my fears. These new Mechs will be played exclusively on already produced maps. Enjoy, collectors of all wallet sizes!
The Hatamoto head also looks better in the final model. Doesn't have those ugly wasp mandibles that the concept art had. Instead they look more like proper samurai cheek helmet cheek guards.
